This is a super cute little group of homes with a pool on the water. Here are the things you won't know from the advertisement although you're on the water you can't swim it's covered in rocks and coral. Bring aquasocks if you plan on trying to go out on the water. The furniture in unit two in the living room needs to be replaced you sit on the couch or love seat and you sink in. Beds and pillow are very good. Ac is good. Dishwasher needs updating. If you dont know grand cayman this is a 40 minute ride from the nice area seven mile beach... when you land at the airport rent a car and do your shopping at the bigger soap or get down there the one near the house is very small. I'm not sure if it was from the recent wins before we got there but lots of seaweed on the beach. The views from the deck are fantastic Grill and kitchen appliances worked great for a small family

Decent stay overall

Overall a good stay. Decor was nice, great layout, beautiful view, pool was great. Location was OK - definitely requires a car to get to anything and beach is not accessible for swimming and a LOT of trash on the beach. I would stay at Rum Point or Seven Mile beach at next stay. Several things need attention in the house. We had no phone service the entire stay, cables were missing from TV, broken remote, broken DVD player, broken vacuum cleaner, ceiling fans need fixed as they were making bad noises, etc. Again, we had a great stay and enjoyed our time - the house just needs a deep cleaning (shower, furniture, touch-up paint, etc) and mentioned maintenance in several areas and it would have been an even better stay. Also, a dirty diaper was left by prior guest and not cleaned...room stank our whole stay until we discovered it under a couch when we were packing to leave. More attention to cleaning and servicing the units is needed.

The home was extremely comfortable. Upon checking in we found the entire house to be cleaner than any small hotel room we’ve ever stayed in. Air conditioning was fantastic. The surrounding property including the pool was also extremely clean. Great location within 20 minutes of some of the best little eateries, without all the hassle of 7 mile Beach. The only surprise was the beach. Don’t expect to lay out on it or have easy access into the ocean. It wasn’t that great. However, Rum Point beach is only a mile away, and that is where we intended to spend our days anyway. With that being said, we did not find the beach was a detriment. We absolutely intend to stay at Ocean Paradise again.

We stayed in Home 1, and except for 2 issues, the house was great! #1 was the fact that the glass in one of the balcony doors was shattered...still intact, but shattered. The property manager said he was aware when I called to let him know, but it woukd probably not be repaired before we left. We stayed 5 nights. #2 is the downstairs bed was a very firm mattress and not comfortable at all. We all slept up stairs in those 2 beds and the rollaway bed. Otherwise the house and grounds were great! We enjoyed it. It is a very laid back atmosphere and relaxing. I loved the huge windows and all of the sunshine in the mornings!!! The beach was a big letdown for me. If you do not take water shoes, you will not be going into the water, or really walking down there at all. Thank goodness we all had them. The amount of weeds and garbage was so sad. Not a beach to enjoy like over at 7 mile beach. Ocean Paradises stretch though was the cleanest by far, but still not was I was hoping for in a beach in the Caymans. The snorkeling however was awesome! The water is pretty shallow quite a ways out, and the kids had a blast seeing all the fish. It was like swimming in an aquarium! We loved Rum Point, super cool place there and Starfish beach was really cool too!! Lots of fun at both of those places. Overall, Ocean Paradise was a great place to stay, but I am a beach girl and wish that part would have been equally as cool as the house and the pool.

Very nice but...

The houses are well designed and well furnished. The cluster around a very nice pool has a "resort" feel without the masses. However...No hot water on arrival and it took 4 days to he fixed. The evenings outside were plagued by mosquitoes and we saw that there was a non-functional mosquito "trap" on the site. We bought our own mosquito "coils" to smoke the area and used candles and spray but we were still bitten. The beach was pretty to look at but infested with biting insects, not cleaned and it was difficult to get into the water therefore we drove to nearby beaches.

The house was truly amazing. There were some little things that were wrong, but nothing that effected our vacation except for all of the garbage on the beach which surprised me. The house is right off the beach but it's not a beach you can walk on nor can you get into the water without stepping over garbage & dead seaweed. I don't want to deter people from renting the house because the house is spectacular and you can just sit on your patio and listen to the ocean, but I wanted to make people aware of the beach. No one told us so we were unpleasantly surprised.

Excellent place! If your looking to escape too a quite place away from noise and business, this is the place to stay! Like myself its not brandnew and had a issue or two! The owners were quick to respond and take care of each issue which was in itself a pleasant experience to have these days! Enjoyed the whole stay. Would both recommend & return to stay again!

This beautiful property is located on the slower north side of the island. It is peaceful and quiet wth very few distractions. This is the place to enjoy the ocean breeze and get away from the crowds. The beaches on this side of the island are not great but you can take a quick ferry for $20 round trip to the gorgeous 7 mile beach. You will need to rent a car to get around but it is worth it.

Wonderful place to relax

This place is really a perfect getaway and the only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars instead of 4 is because the beach is not good. You really have no place to go on the beach and you can’t go in the water anywhere near the house unless you wear water shoes. It’s actually quite beautiful but really not useful. Even if you want to snorkel you will have a difficult time. When we arrived and unloaded our groceries we discovered that the refrigerator wasn’t working and I made a phone call and they told me that we could use the refrigerator in the house next door because the unit was currently not rented. They sent someone over the next morning to fix the refrigerator. Also the swimming pool is really nice but it was really cold and not warm enough to swim in so I asked to have it warmed up a bit and they did turn it up the next day. The house and the property are really nice and the location is great. Beds are very comfortable. It’s bigger than we needed as it was just my wife and I but we waited too long to find something and this was available. Groceries on the island are expensive. Actually everything on the island is expensive so if you are looking to go somewhere and get by cheap this isn’t the island to come to. We met Janet the cleaning lady and housekeeper and she is wonderful. If you are lucky enough to run into her be sure to say hello as she is a gift from god. Loved her. We would recommend this stay but if you are looking for great beaches and swimming it’s not gonna check that box.

We had to change houses midway through, which was because we were seeking a place to stay very late in the game. Not only was Ocean Paradise helpful, but they even had their cleaning staff move our luggage from the first house to the second.

Quiet and peaceful

This house is beautiful. Everything you need is here. From the dishes to the blow dryer! Super close to Rum Point and Starfish Point! You are about 45 Minutes from 7 mile beach this is definitely the more quiet side of the island. The staff Janet & Andre were amazing. My only issue was the beach. It is a bit rocky so make sure to bring water shoes. I would love to book all these homes for a big family get together!

Stand alone house

Ocean Paradise is fantastic! The house was very clean when we arrived and everything listed in the amenities was correct. The house shares the large property with 4 other identical homes, has a great pool area for kicking back and is right on the beach. The house has a well supplied kitchen (as far as cooking utensils go) so there is no need to dine out every night. However, if you want to dine out, Rum Point is only a 5 minute drive (go to Kaibo Beach Restaurant or make the 15 minute drive to South Coast Bar and Grill). Ocean entry from the beach is possible but you will want hard soled diving shoes. Thick water-socks are not enough. The beach is rocky and as you enter the water there are urchins EVERYWHERE. We found that if you walk from the house down to the beach and go to your left about 100 yards or so there is pain-free entry to the water. The snorkeling there was very good. There were large corals and plenty of fish to see. The beach on this side of the island is not like that on Seven Mile. There is a lot of trash that has washed up on the beach along with tons of sea weed or ocean grass. The trash was a big let down! Overall, we would definitely stay here again. It's very quiet and far away from the crowds on Seven Mile. You will want a rental car ($100 for 7 days is worth it). Just remember to drive on the left.

Beach House

We stayed in house #4, one of the two homes directly on the beach. Beautiful house, very clean, modern, nicely furnished with all appliances. Beautiful ocean views from the patio, house, and two balconies. Very nice pool. You do need water shoes for access to the water here and pay attention to the signs warning of currents. But...beaches at Rum Point, Starfish Point, and Water Cay all have sandy access and are only minutes away. Chisholm's grocery is only two miles away and very convenient.The beaches at the Reef Resort/Morritts are twenty minutes away. All in all a great place to stay away from the crowds while still convenient to great beaches and nice restaurants.

Family paradise

Just spent a week at Ocean Paradise, and that it was. Beautiful homes, spacious, clean, beautiful. Our family of four had all we needed. Loved being away from the touristy area of George Town and Seven Mile, but easy access to Rum Point and Starfish Point. Snorkeling in both those areas was wonderful. 45 min trip into town and George Town has all you need. Went to The Turtle Farm and the devils stumping grounds (won't let me say the real name due to inappropriate language) and a great snorkel trip with Cayman Tours to the barrier reef, coral cove and Stingray City. Plenty of time spent enjoying our own quiet paradise at Ocean Paradise. I can't say enough great things. Stop looking and book it. You'll never regret it. We WILL be back.

Amazing property right by the ocean away from the crowds. Has been very well kept and is cleaned on regular basis. Had a amazing stay with the family.

Home away from home

Loved this place. Cute modern comfortable and outstanding location, assuming you want quiet and away from crowds and beaches and dining etc. we prefer north side but those not familiar with Cayman should understand this is NOT the area to go for beaches clubs dining etc. if you want quiet and comfort this is the place.
