We needed somewhere to stay near Luton for one night, this was perfect, easy to find and park, quiet, just on outskirts of town and a good price

There was a horrific smell in the room, there were lots of cobwebs in the room. There is a skylight in the middle of the room and its bright from 5am. Advertising is misleading

Luton not Luton but countryside

We had a lovely short break in the cottages while visiting family near by. We had some lovely walks and it is a nice location. Only issue is the low water pressure in the shower which the owner makes you aware of and is outside of their control but we can't fault it in any other way and will definitely stay again when we are visiting family in Houghton Regis.

A wonderfully clean, comfy and convenient stay.

I didn’t get the check in info via Hotels.com and their address was wrong. But a simple phone call and an exceptionally helpful and friendly chap sorted everything within two minutes. The cottage was wonderful. So warm and inviting. Comfy and beyond clean. I’m definitely coming here again.

Stayed for one night on business. Lovely chalets and when inside there is no sound. Room was very comfortable. Room was clean with just a couple of minor issues like some areas not dusted. Would highly recommend and use again if im ever in Luton

Belle Cottage

W stayed in the cottage called Belle, it was as ok. My disappointment was the poor quality bed linen ,the duvet and pillows were well past there use by date. If they were to replace with better quality items it would be a massive improvement. It was easy to find and the checking in was seamless as we arrived quite late in the evening. It was well situated for what we needed

Not the room/chalet we booked, given another one. No heating, dirty, dusty, old worn furniture. We didn't stay the night, we drove 1/2 to another town and checked into a hotel. Disgusting.

2 night base for local wedding

Clean & comfortable. Easy check in. Hairdryer provided on request. Bed comgortable. Shower was barely usable as it alternated between cold & very hot. No hot water in bsthroom sink/ limited warm water in kitchen. No cooker only microwave - who knew you could cook bacon & eggs in a microwave! 10 minute walk to pub with standard pub food. Secure parking. Nice garden area when weather allows use. Friendly & helpful hosts

Loved the kitchenette with microwave and nice size room. Hated small bathroom with shower door not closing, showerhead needs descale and worst was position of toilet in front of basin ! Snail trails not a welcome sight on entering the room. Narrow pathway on unsteady shingle and squeeze past quad bike to access. Also not pleasant standing in rain to access the key in the lockbox.

Unable to access the property. No response from eiter of the contact numbers available so in the end I slept in the car. Subsequently when contacting via the email address provided, I've not even had a response.

Tired but quiet

Darren was very pleasant and attentive, but the room was tired. The entrance into the property was very narrow, due to a caravan parked next to the entry gate and a small ditch on the other side. Charlotte the spider greeted us at the front entrance, on arrival and each morning when we needed to leave. None of the windows opened and the sky light kept me up at night when the security light was triggered. The main wall of windows was opaque so couldn't see outside. The shower wasn't working-- though Darren fixed it within 15 min-- but it was a very slow flow and difficult to use since the shower door didn't stay closed. Bed was low to the ground, not very firm and you rolled to the middle. Small table was over the heater and very wobbly, so couldn't lean on it or really use it as a table. Fridge was ok, but it needed to be defrosted to remove the large ice block taking up most of the space on the main shelf. Linens were clean and we liked the country field painting in the room.

Location Great For Luton

Location is great for getting round Luton, really good use of the cottage with small kitchenet. Coded barrier to get entry so safe. Just be careful when getting onto the main road as quite busy.

Wonderful stay

Absolutely fantastic, gorgeous location, clean and very cosy. Everything you need provided, fridge, microwave etc, perfect! Great nights sleep too. Would definitely stay again as dog friendly. Could not fault a thing.Thank you Darren.

Lots of potential
 but disappointing

I was looking forward to my one-night stay here, but I was left disappointed and definitely won’t be returning. There are a few positives. The cottage (or ‘chalet’) I was allocated was, overall, lovely - warm, cosy and quite comfortable. However, the check-in experience was awful - the owner hadn’t sent any instructions via email as promised, and I was left fumbling around in the dark looking for the right property and key safe. The lady I spoke to on the phone was pleasant enough but gave the impression that she wasn’t really happy to help me. It was only 7PM This place is in the middle of nowhere and entering and exiting the property off a very busy main road is downright dangerous. I was expecting a warm welcome, so was very disappointed with the “automatic/self check-in experience”. Secondly, the shower!!! Well, there is a sign in the bathroom saying that the water pressure is low, but the shower is practically unusable and I gave up in the end. The issue wasn’t only with the water pressure, but I couldn’t get the temperature right; it was ether boiling hot or freezing cold. By the way, it’s “Inconvenience”, not convenience. There was also an issue with the TV (the Polish satĂ©lite service did not work properly) That was a minor issueCheck out was equally impersonal; I just left the keys in the safe and went on my way. I was so looking forward to my stay, especially given the review score on Expedia, but I was hugely disappointed with this stay. Will not be back, sorry!
