Great appartment

This appartment was fantastic. Great location with fabulous coffee shop right opposite the main entrance. The photos don't do the accommodation justice. So much space and very clean. Lisbon am excellent place and will return and to this appartment.

Mario was wonderful helping us with everything!! The living space was perfect for our group. Tons of space for us to spread out. The breakfast place “Dear Breakfast” was literally across the street from the door. We loved it.

It is clean, spacious and stylish apartment with great location! Beds were comfortable , kitchen has all amenities. Loved it Only one little thing, we wish the closets had some shelves or possible drawer to keep our underwear and other stuff organized. Had no trouble with any noise.

The apartment was very accessible for the city centre with the 28 tram going down a near by road. The apartment was a good size and the air conditioning was very useful. But, it could do with a bit of repainting and bathroom maintenance. Also the doors have round handles that are difficult to open doors.

We stayed here with three adults and a baby and it was nice and clean. They were pretty quick to respond to our communication and were helpful with our demands for baby and small troubleshooting. There are plenty of great restaurants and cafes in the area and it was a good location to jump of to many ‘must see’ sites in Lisbon. Most things were only 30 minutes walk or a short bus away. The price was a bit high, but compared to the other place we stayed in in Lisbon it was a better suited place for parents with baby.

Property at a good location, easy access to attractions. Nice spacious rooms and clean. Noisy at night as our room faced the street. Kitchen doesn’t have oil or salt. Our friends in another room had a leaking air conditioner. One of the sheets had a large stain. But overall good value and good experience.

The location was great and the building itself was lovely. But it was let down by a few things. It wasn't overly clean - there were hairs in the sink and the matresses were filthy and brown (and easily seen because the sheets didn't stay on). There weren't enough pillows and there was nowhere to store luggage on the day of departure. Also there was no safe. Plus, the water tank in the kitchen cupboard was contstantly leaking and they didn't seem bothered. We had to keep emptying the plastic tub that was catching the leaking water so that the entire kitchen didn't flood

Our family was pleasantly surprised with the space and comfort in our R. Gaivotas apartment. Bedrooms were large and welcoming, as was the sitting room with TV and dining. The surrounding area was mostly quiet (as long as the windows were shut) and just a 10-15 minute walk (albeit uphill) to the bustling hub of the city. Tram 28 stops just around the corner, and there were plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. We had a few minor plumbing issues (hot water heater had to be reset, drains were slow, fixtures a bit loose) but all were manageable and honestly to be expected in older European properties. A/C worked very well, and the washing/drying machine was very useful! Bring your own toiletries- only bar soap provided. Host was kind and responsive with clear instuctions. We would stay again!

This was well located for our needs whilst staying in Lisbon. However there were a couple of niggly things such as holes in the towels, staines on the sofa/chair and the shower seal didn’t work. So ended up with water all over the floor around it each time any of us had a shower. As other reviews have said the street noise is rather loud and on the Friday night didn’t stop until 3.30am. But the bedroom at the back of the property was lovely a quiet. We could have done with more than 1 toilet with the bedrooms at opposite ends of the apartment and there was an odd area that looked like it was possibly intended to be an ensuite, but wasn’t. Overall we had a good stay and absolutely loved Lisbon.

Constant dripping coming from toilet cistern, which can be heard from double bedroom. plumber was sent but didn’t resolve the issue. We had to buy ear plugs to get some sleep. Couldn’t use washing machine as it tripped the electrics. Problem reported but not resolved. It’s a shame we had these issues as the apartment is stunning. Shutters on windows did a brilliant job of dulling the noise of the bars in the street.

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. My family and I had a terrible stay here and ended up leaving early. It was very difficult to communicate with the property and received little assistance when we arrived for check in. We stood outside of the apartment building for 45 minutes before hearing back from the property. It was clear the apartment had not been cleaned. The comforter had stains and was dirty. Luckily we were able to get ahold of someone to bring us a new comforter. To top it all off, the second night we were there, we discovered bed bugs. We reached out to the property to let them know we would be leaving early and that we would like a refund for our stay. We even sent pictures of the bed bugs. Never heard back from them. We had to spend a good chunk of our vacation attempting to wash and disinfect all of our clothes at the laundry mat. The least they could do is reply to us and offer a refund. I will be contacting Expedia for further assistance, unfortunately. I would not recommend this property for your stay.

This apartment is in a great area and walkable to so many things, including public transportation, and tons of restaurants. The apartment was lovely, but it is a bit loud on the street. You will hear the cars going by at night, especially as I hit the drainage holes in the street. Communication from the property management group was not good, and in fact, when we were supposed to meet them for tips and tax collection, etc. they never showed up and they never answered any of our messages after that. We were also never brought new towels as they had indicated they would on day three. Ultimately that worked out fine for us, but certainly could be troublesome in some situations. Lack of communication from the property management group would definitely be concerning if there were issues.
