Unique Suite in Historic Ramsay By Stampede/Inglewood/Elbow River w/ Parking
This stylishly renovated historic suite, built in 1915, offers a blend of vintage charm and modern luxury near the Calgary Stampede grounds. Amenities include 1G high-speed internet, streaming services, a fully equipped kitchen, queen bed, workspace, washer/dryer, and keyless entry. The decor features a urban cowboy atmosphere. Located in the historic Ramsay neighborhood, it's close to local attractions and the Bow River pathway, making it an ideal base for exploring Calgary.
The suite has been renovated to a more modern look and is fully furnished in a modern-day homage to the early 1900âs. Located on STREET LEVEL or main floor of the historic J. Nevler building in Ramsay and was constructed in 1915, it is an Edwardian Commercial style building. Jeremiah Nevler (the original owner), a Russian Jewish immigrant who lived in Calgary with his family. Nevler operated a grocery store in Bridgeland / Riverside before relocating his home and business to this address. He evidently left the City around 1923-24, and sold the building around 1928. Today it is named Hardware Block as it once held a hardware storefront but has been converted to living space.
