Disappointed
I am writing to express my concerns regarding a recent stay at Ocean View Villas in Cherry Grove. While we appreciated the excellent location and the updated interior of our unit, there were several issues that significantly impacted our experience.Upon arrival, we encountered a few cleanliness concerns in the unitâspecifically, we found a hoodie under one bed and underwear under another in the same room, which made us question the thoroughness of the cleaning process.The check-in process was also inconvenient, requiring us to drive approximately 20 minutes in traffic to an off-site office, which was not clearly communicated beforehand.While the interior of the unit was pleasant, the exterior of the building was in poor condition. The area beneath the building was dug up, with large piles of dirt and yellow caution tape obstructing our patio area. Scaffolding was also set up along the side of the building, creating an uncomfortable and unwelcoming environment.Additionally, we were very disappointed to find that the pool was closed, especially since this amenity was a key factor in our decision to book this location. There was no mention of the closure in the listing, nor were we informed by the office or management upon check-in. This was especially frustrating as my daughter has a medical condition that limits her time in the ocean, and we were relying on pool access during our stay.Finally, upon checkout, I attempted to discuss these issues with the manager.
