Our cozy bunkhouse (cabin / camp) is located on our main property on French Lake in Lakeville Corner. Just 35 minutes from Fredericton, 15 minutes from Oromocto and 20 minutes to the Fredericton Airport, this quaint and cozy modern NB camp sleeps 4-6. Kitchenette, bathroom with shower, loft bed, futon and master with queen bed, along with a day bed on the full length screened in veranda. Nestled in the forest next to a babbling stream, cabin guests will have access to the beach and a fire pit. BBQ, fridge, microwave and Wifi. Short drive to Ripples (Great weekend breakfast!) and Bertie's Cafe for wood oven pizza.
Sandy was a great host. All of our needs were met. Sunsets were gorgeous and we were lucky to have a few deer visit the cabin at sunset and sunrise. Very peaceful.
This place is such a hidden gem! We loved escaping the hustle and bustle of downtown life to relax by the lake in this well-appointed cabin... Located about 35 minutes from Fredericton, the cabin is nestled in a peaceful piece of paradise, steps away from a gorgeous, calm lake that's ideal for swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, or pick your flavour of water fun... We also enjoyed having the extra space of the screened-in porch. We used our time out there to read, relax and soak in the natural views... We slept well in the comfy main bed and loved being able to brew our own coffee in the morning and chill in the living room... Having the fridge and kitchen amenities was also a huge bonus and convenience.
The peacefulness of the surroundings, combined with the beauty of the location, created a truly rejuvenating experience.
Sandy was a really responsive and welcoming host. Fast and friendly communication all the way through. Sandy ensured we had everything needed for a seamless and enjoyable stay and even sprinkled in some local tips... One very minor recommendation - it would be great if the cabin had access to a BBQ to expand the cooking options.
Overall, this zen cabin exceeded our expectations. It's a perfect retreat for anyone looking to disconnect, immerse themselves in beautiful New Brunswick nature, and create some new memories. Highly recommended!!
I'm a NB'r who returned a few years back and have been working on this property to get it ready for guests. It's separate but attached to my main camp and it's lovingly maintained and upgraded. The lake is great for swimming, kayaking and fishing and, the cabin itself is a little piece of paradise, particularly the screened in porch, nestled in the woods next to a babbling brook.
Its a modern little bunkhouse, self contained and great for a family or small group. It's close to everything, is very peaceful and cozy and has access to the lake.
