Accommodating and Comfortable

The owner allowed us earlier check in, the A/C and nice bed let us rest super nicely after long hot days at the beach. Surprisingly for being above a restaurant that is open fairly late there was no noise. Just a short walk from the beach and near some great restaurants. Highly recommend!

Great trip and place

This was a great experience and the host was phenomenal. Easy check in/out. Unfortunately my husband hurt his back and we had to leave a day early. We will stay here again. Host was accommodating and easy to get in touch with. This is right on the strip and a 3 min walk to beach. Great restaurants and bars right within walking distance. on the steup

Awesome place on Main!

Coastal Suites is located directly above the Crabby Joes restaurant (excellent food and bev!) on Main Street and is in the heart of everything happening at Grand Bend Beach! Perfect location for walking to EVERYTHING including the beach. Beautiful, modern, clean, room with a really nice deck for watching sunsets and people watching too. We would stay there again and hope to return soon! Thanks to everyone at Crabby Joes for a great stay. FIVE STARS!

Amazing! Will come again!

Place was beautiful, the area was gorgeous, and I had a wonderful time. The only thing I'll say is the shower floor was a bit dirty, and the garage door style windows let cold air in a little too easily, but other than that, it was a great time! For those worried about sound pollution due to it being above a bar: bring a fan. The white noise drowned it out.

Was Okay

Check in process really isn’t ideal with the restaurant, as you have to retrieve your key at the bar and check out there as well. Location is a good spot, close to everything. Room was not very clean, there were items from previous people still left in the room & foot prints on the ceiling with smushed bugs all over, the shower drain was very clogged and didn’t drain so could only use the shower for about 3 mins so it didn’t flood the bathroom, some items were non working (lamp), didn’t come with a lot of the items that were included. My suggestion would be to really thoroughly clean the room, doesn’t make it comforting especially with how much it is for 1 night, and make sure it’s in a suitable state of what you would expect. Just my advice.

Unprofessional

We were looking forward to our stay in grand bend for over a month. The one word I would use for my stay is unprofessional. -Check in process is walking into a bar and asking for my room key. The bartender has to go and ask for the owner in the back.- The room was fine other than the bathroom. It was clearly redone which is fine, the door obviously was put in last when they realized the door wouldnt open because it would hit the toilet.So they cut a hole in the door so it would slide over the toilet seat. The shower door lacked the rubber to prevent water from going out so the floor was soaked. Not to mention the door stop being right where you would step out so you cant place a towel. Not sure if it was the buildings fault but the hot water did not last more than 2 minutes.-Our first morning we woke up to the sound of the security system screeching in the hallway. After we woke up, the fire alarm starts to go off. In a panic I walk down stairs to the restaurant to see whats going on. Thats where I am told that the fire department was testing the alarms. For some reason nobody decided to tell us. Which then had the fire department knocking on our door to come test the alarms.- The constant noise from the restaurant, whether it was the music at night or the dragging of chairs to open in the morning.-The electronic billboard outside constantly shining light into our room during the night.Overall the stay was fine, just unprofessional.
