Serene location, great house for large family

The spacious house with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms was perfect for our extended family stay. Spacious and well-equipped kitchen. In a beautiful location, quiet neighborhood with water frontage.

Amazing house and experience

My parents, siblings and I-and our families- all had an unforgettable weekend at this clean and spacious beachfront cottage. There were no reviews when we first booked so we were a little anxious but were very pleasantly surprised at how gorgeous the home was. It had everything we needed, and we really couldn’t have asked for a better stay.

The home and the view was beautiful.Unfortunately it was very dirty. We had to clean to actually enjoy a stay. The appliances had buildup of grease and food and we had to clean one of the bathrooms because it had not been cleaned at all. Much of the home was dirty and not just because of that. The person that stayed before us. Build up. Reached out to the host with nothing. But excuses and would expect partial refund on this stay. The pictures I took so how bad it was.

The physical location of the property is excellent. The home is quite run down and dirty. Missing locks on windows, and window screens, closet door on floor, broken bathroom mirror, filthy curtains, stained sheets. When we walked in home it looks like dirty sheet on daybed. Ceiling fan in main room broken, one of the lights in the stairwell broken also. It was quite disappointing. The physical location of the rental is excellent. There is a comfortable library area that was in good condition. All photos have been sent to EVOLVE property management. I feel the reviews may have not been authentic.

Communication with the host was great, and we really appreciated being allowed an early check-in. The home itself has wonderful character and a lot of family history — you can tell it’s a special place in a beautiful area.That said, there were a few things that could be improved for future guests. When we arrived, the heat was off, though thankfully the owner happened to be onsite and was able to show me how to turn it on. We also had some difficulty figuring out the fireplaces. The home could benefit from a deeper clean overall — there was some leftover food in the fridge, and the freezer needed attention.When we first arrived, it looked like an animal had gotten into the outdoor trash. The owner covered it with a torn bag but it was never addressed during our stay, so some debris blew around the driveway. Additionally, the slider locks weren’t functioning properly and were being held with a piece of wood, which didn’t feel very secure.A few thoughtful touches, like providing some cozy throw blankets for fall stays, would make the space feel even more welcoming.Overall, we enjoyed our time and made the best of it — the location and charm of the home really stand out, and with a bit more attention to detail, it could be a truly great stay.
