The location was excellent and we had easy parking across the street just one block from the beach. Within driving distance to grocery stores, tons of restaurants, and many activities. We had a five year old and an eight year old with us, and they loved ending the evening in the hot tub. We’d definitely return.

Wonderful Family Getaway

The property was ideal for our four person family. Big and open, with great bedding and comfortable showers. We loved relaxing in the hot tub in the evening. We also found that the street parking for the beach across the street was super easy, and we loved the close proximity to both restaurants and souvenir shops. Our host was very responsive and helped us a ton. We'd definitely stay again.

Spring Break at Blue Skies

Our family had the best time at Blue Skies! The place was super clean and well done. Great location. We enjoyed the hot tub, firepit, and being close to the beach and plenty of thing to do for the whole family to enjoy. Being able to watch the sun rise and set from the property was so lovely. We will be back!

We really enjoyed our stay. The property was beautiful and clean. We ran into an issue with the AC and the owners were easy to contact and had it fixed within a couple of hours. We would definitely stay again.

Comfort and style

The property is very well maintained with very stylish decor. Everything was perfect! Kitty Hawk Beach is gorgeous we drove down and the parking was easy. Having the ice cream shop on the way to your beach day or coming off the beach was a treat itself. The property was so clean and comfortable. We will be going back next year!!

Everything was great! The level of cleanliness was top notch! Short walking distance to the beach and to get food. We loved that we were able to watch our favorite shows on Netflix. We even enjoyed the convenience of making our own breakfast and lunch. Being able to sit on the deck and watch the sunset was so relaxing. We will book this place again if it’s available when we decide to return! Thank You for being some welcoming to my family and I.

We really enjoyed our stay! The place was so clean! Very comfortable for our family of 6. The view was great. The host was super friendly and accommodating. Nice little gift when you walked in. There is a business downstairs but we never heard any noise from them at all, It really is a great place And we will definitely book again!

Beautiful getaway

We had a beautiful stay in Blue Skies! The house is so clean and well maintained. It was very easy to enter the house with the passcode. Beds were so comfortable for everyone and the couch was comfy for family movie nights. Kitchen was well stocked so you don’t need to bring any of those supplies. Close to restaurants which was great. The business downstairs doesn’t make a peep! And there’s a bagel place next door for easy breakfasts/sandwiches… again very quiet! Hot tub was clean and a lot of fun - such an added bonus and the fire pit was fun for smores! Only thing that was tricky was crossing the major road to get to the beach but there is a crosswalk that makes it easy. Rest assured you can’t go wrong with Blue Skies!

Clean, short walk to the beach

We were impressed with how clean this property is. The walk to the beach is 3-5 min., however, you do cross Croatan Hwy. The place felt inviting with a welcome note and bucket of treats, as well as board games. Nice outdoor spaces with firepit and tables (though it was very hot/humid/rainy during our stay so we didn't get to take advantage of those) however decks are not covered. The hot tub is private and our teen girls enjoyed using it each evening. Towels are limited, you may want to take your own to have enough clean towels for your stay as there is no washer/dryer. Communication with host is excellent, quick replies.
