The space
Nestled in the historic neighbourhood of Windsor, just a stone's throw from Brisbane City this historic building has been renovated and offers convenient accommodation in one of Brisbane's heritage landmarks. The fully-airconditioned unit is an easy walk to trendy cafes, restaurants, shops & buses. Brisbane City and Westfield Chermside are only a 10 minute drive away. RBWH is a 3 minute drive. Only a 15 minute drive from the airport. We offer a relaxed, comfortable experience in this charming heritage listed apartment. Great for families with older kids. Perfect for short or long stays. Free street parking, or paid off-street parking on request.
The space
Conveniently located off of Lutwyche Road the iconic building is impossible to miss. Once upstairs, you will find a charming sanctuary including a fully equipped kitchenette with a convectional oven and stove top, a full fridge, toaster, kettle and other basic supplies.
There is a balcony with bar stools and seating that overlooks our beautiful courtyard which you can see some beautiful sights of Brisbane during the sunset.
The pleasant lounge-room is light filled and includes a large Smart TV, board games, and a dining area.
Each of the bedrooms has been immaculately presented for a good night’s sleep with comfortable mattresses and side tables. The main room has a double bed, wardrobe and dressing table. Meanwhile, the secondary room features a king single bed, and in-build wardrobe.
Our home is over 145 years old and, though greatly cared for, shows its age in some places. Expect to find some loving wear, quaint aging and charm both inside and outside.
Shared Spaces
The beautiful and spacious courtyard is also available for your convenience during your stay when not in use by the downstairs tenants. The tenants downstairs are generally only there on special occasions during the day.
Guests will also have access to in-unit laundry, including a washing machine, and washing liquid to your everyday convenience.
During your stay, you and your group will have the entire upstairs unit to yourself.
Upgrades
Off-road parking is available at an additional rate of $25/night. Note that the parking belongs to our neighbours so it is to cover their fee.
Noise
As it looks on the map - yes, we are positioned on a main road! This is convenient for buses and it's very unlikely you will get lost on the way to the shops! While our windows are double glazed, please expect noise from traffic. Personally, I enjoy the ambience!
The below tenants occasionally hosts intimate small events during daylight hours which may minimally effect your stay with noise temporarily.
