Breathtaking Hamilton Lake Views
This elegant, elevated character home has some of the best views in Hamilton of Rotoroa (the Hamilton Lake). This gorgeous 5 bedroom/3 bathroom home will impress you with charm and grandeur. Relax and enjoy a meal and drinks on the outside deck whilst enjoying lake views. In winter time the spa can operate (but it's too hot in summer). There's a private walkway down to the lake. Centrally located and only about a 10 - 15minute walk, CBD, Seddon Park and Waikato Stadium. A short drive to Claudelands Event Centre (4kms), Hamilton Airport and Mystery Creek (14Kms)
The space
The property is lovingly cared for and delightfully packaged to accommodate the most respectful guests deserving a peaceful opportunity to rejuvenate with all the homely comforts at hand.
Please note: This property has a strict 'no large parties or gatherings' policy.
This home is nestled on almost 1700m of land perched above the Hamilton lake. On a clear day you can also see Mt Ruapehu, Mt Pirongia, Mt Maungatautari and the windmills near Raglan and Mt Kariori. There's a walkway down to Lake Domain Drive and the Hamilton Lake.
When you arrive through the front door you enter a large foyer area which beautiful kauri features. Downstairs has one bedroom, one bathroom, a large open plan lounge plus a bay window and formal dining area. The downstairs also has a kitchen and informal dining room. There is a large north facing deck a couch and 2 picnic tables so it's perfect for socialising.
The upstairs has 4 bedrooms including the master bedroom which has a super king bed from which you can enjoy watching the sunrise. French doors open on to a balcony overlooking the lake. This room has it's own heat pump to warm you up on cold Waikato mornings.
There is a strict "no party" policy. Guest numbers have been reduced to 6 however with the permission from Rachel, the owner, this number could be increased.
Guest access:
The garage and a couple of rooms in the property have been locked and unavailable for guests. But there's still close to 300sq metres of house and deck to enjoy.

Hi. I'm Rachel and I have 3 sons and a labradoodle. We love the beach and all sports especially snow skiing/boarding. My mother grew up in this house until she was 10 and then moved to the home that my parents still live in today, which is only a short walk away around the lake. We have fun entertaining with family and friends on the terrace as we enjoy the sun and views together. We hope you love our home as much as we do.
Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?
The Hamilton Lake has always been my "hood" growing up as a kid here. I love the central location of the property and how easy it is to get anywhere from fabulous restaurants in the CBD to walks around the lake, cultural events and sports venues. It's so easy to whiz around and go anywhere within Hamilton.
