The house was fantastic - plenty of room for group of 11. Enjoyed the use of the paddle boards, kayaks, and canoe. Inside the house was very clean and comfortable. Hot tub was nice as well. Outside could have used some TLC. The deck could have been a nice spot for morning coffee and conversation but was not clean at all (stains on chairs, leaves, spider webs, etc.). Should have been clean for the price. Overall, a good experience.
We had a good weekend. There were 13 of us, 10 adults and three children three and under. First thing we noticed was it was only five bedrooms instead of six. There was ample space for everyone to spread out and have fun. There were plenty of towels and the beds while uncomfortable, were clean. We made use of the fire pit at the top of the hill. We also made use of the kayaks. They were great. Everything was clean on the surface. Anything we took out to cook with needed to be washed because they had been put away dirty. The oven could also be cleaned. One of the showers was not working. The Pictures make it look as if you can get into the water from the shore, you canât. The pictures on the site are a little misleading if you were looking for a lakefront property that you can get into and out of the water easily this is not the place for you. There are so many weeds and Lily pads in front of the house that you really canât swim right there you have to go out deeper. There is no marina close to this house, so if you are looking to rent a boat, it takes a lot of effort to go find one. Overall, it was a good weekend because we spent it with family, but the house was less than we expected for the price we paid.
