Quiet and peaceful, surrounded by sheep paddocks, bush and kiwifruit. You can sit on the deck and look over the farm land. Waihi beach is 15 minutes away. Easy commute to Waihi, Waihi Beach, Katikati, Bowen town boating club, Athenree hot-springs, Sapphire springs and only 40 minutes to Tauranga.

The Orchard cafe is within walking distance from the property. Great restaurants and cafes located in Katikati and Waihi beach. Countdown supermarket less then 10 minutes away in Katikati.

Great place! Thanks!

We had a fantastic stay with all we needed at hand. The location was good for as with family in Tauranga and wanting to be away at the same time. Close to Waihi Beach where we enjoyed a couple of meals. Only 5 or so mins from Katikati for any shopping needs or the farmers market

Lovely Bay of Plenty stay

My wife, daughter and I had a brilliant stay at Ewe Cottage and Leona was a great host with great communication throughout. The property is very close to the townships of Katikati and and Waihi (Waihi Beach) for adventures\exploring. The cottage was also very well equipped.

Short Stay

Great location near Katikati and Waihi Beach and much cheaper than a place at the beach. Nipped into Athenree hot springs for an afternoon dip. Private, quite and relaxing. Clean and well appointed. Will definitely return.

Lovely spot

We loved our stay here. The location is quiet and private with lovely views of the green valleys and hills. Leona was an excellent host, even arranging the return of a charger we left there. Just a quick drive to Waihi Beach. Highly recommended.

Perfectly Relaxing & Beautiful

This wonderfully welcoming batch was a perfect hideaway for our trip. Spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated, with a cosy living space, a kitchen that had everything you could ever need and the most comfortable bed that was like sleeping on a cloud. It was so close to everything for a day tripping but tucked away in a quiet and secluded spot that felt like a million miles from the bustle. Our host was so helpful with advice for local places to visit, eateries and their attention to detail was second to none. I would no hesitate to book again and recommend to everyone.

Perfect accommodation

This was the best accommodation we have had on our six week trip to New Zealand. It is a lovely house in a fantastic scenery. Everything was spotlessly clean. High quality equipment. We immediately felt home. The veranda was great for hanging around, having our meals or enjoying the views.

Rural Katikati

The cottage is very comfortable and well appointed. The surrounds are tranquil, peaceful farmland. Plenty of trees and a few grazing sheep over the fence. A lovely place to relax and only five minutes from Katikati.

A wee gem!

A beautiful cottage in a peaceful location. Really enjoyed our stay. Owners were really helpful. Loved sitting out on the beanbags watching and listening to nature! Could have done with a fan in the bedroom as it got really hot. Would definitely come back.

Cute cottage

We wanted to escape the busyness of life for a few days, explore the area and go for a hike on the Kaimai Range. This cottage was perfect for us. Great location, well equipped for cooking, lovely use of space inside and a nice quiet deck to sit out on. Perfect!

Peaceful Paradise

We loved our stay at Leona's cute farm cottage. It's a short drive from lovely beaches and Wahi and Katikati towns. The cottage has everything you need and was spotless. We enjoyed the Nespresso machine, watching the sun rise over the sheep paddock and had a lovely BBQ. The space is well kept, peaceful and the dvd selection kept our toddler busy when the weather didnt permit outdoor play. We'll definitely be back!

Totally Charming

We stayed 3 nights at this charming cottage. The cottage is beautifully furnished with a very comfortable bed and fully equipped kitchen. The cottage is very cosy and warm and we found the whole experience very peaceful and relaxing, with great bird life and farm views. We will stay again soon. Thank you Leona.
