Alva vaction home rental
Overall, the vacation home was great. Clean, comfortable, plenty of room. Host very responsive. A quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors. The only means of access to home was via the garage and use of an app, which was OK but a code on the main entry door or for the garage would have been better. Only two pool lounge chairs are provided, which is not sufficient for a 3-bedroom house. Limited dishware, glassware and cutlery. Plenty of towels. Dish and laundry soap was provided, which was appreciated. The side-by-side refrigerator has limited room. There is only one TV in the house. The owner should consider adding one or two more.Home is in a gated community. Access requires checking in every time with gate security or the purchase & use of a vehicle access tag (which is an extra cost & not provided by the owner).The transfer of the golf privileges was quick & easy. I played the course several times. The golf course was very busy so must book 7 days in advance to get a tee time. The course was in OK shape and will be transferred to members later this year so I suspect some changes will happen over the next few years. We used the community gym several times. The gym equipment is limited and is old but OK. The community should consider upgrading or replacing some of the equipment soon.
