With stunning views of the bay and the sand islands through the floor to ceiling windows you'll be awed by the stunning sunsets and sunrises! Also, it's only 5 minutes from seaside restaurants, gorgeous beaches, National Parks, hiking and biking trails, yet only 20 minutes from the historical capitol of Charlottetown! It's a unique and romantic escape in the heart of beautiful unspoilt nature!

The Fish Monger’s Dream was a dream! It has everything you’d need and is charming in its character and decor. We loved everything about our stay, especially the hot tub overlooking the bay, and would recommend it to anyone!

Absolutely wonderful stay! Jeff was a fantastic host—communication was clear and quick, check-in and check-out were seamless, and the space was exactly as pictured. The decor was beautifully curated, making the space feel like home: authentic, cozy, and comfortable. The location, with direct beach access, was private yet incredibly accessible. The beach views from the house were fantastic! Jeff was thoughtful about the guest experience. We were provided with welcome gifts (for us and our dog), a booklet with recommendations for restaurants and activities, including a history of the property, kayaks, paddleboards, plenty of warm blankets, a vinyl record player with records, and a fully equipped kitchen. We would stay here again without hesitation. The hosts clearly made a great effort to create and curate a lovely beachfront space. Highly recommended for travelers and guests.

Our stay at the Fishmongers Dream was a dream! My wife and I stayed here for four nights following our recent wedding on the island and found the cabin delightful!! The cabin is wonderfully stocked with high-quality goods for guests to use. The rooms are amazingly decorated. And it is simply a beautiful, quiet, restful location. We would happily stay here again, and would love to make a return for an anniversary! Jeff, was an outstanding host! Super responsive and helped us have a wonderful mini-honeymoon! In short, 10 out of 10 would highly recommend!!

Fantastic Stay!

What a perfect place! The location is great to explore the island as you can get to both east and west ends in day trips. The house has everything you need, including kayaks, paddle boards, kitchen, hot tub, washer/dryer, etc. Absolutely perfect stay on a beautiful piece of property!

Fishmonger’s Dream was the perfect location for us- quiet and private, close to the beach with a great view. Every time I looked around I noticed another piece of interesting coastal decor.The vibes in the cottage are immaculate. The cottage is stocked as if hosting friends- so many thoughtful additions. The bed is comfortable and our dog had no problem navigating the cool spiral staircase. We had a lot of great sleeps, and got to experience a rainstorm beating on the tin roof, watching it fall on the skylights… so peaceful. We saw a bald eagle walking our dog on the property’s beach every morning, rabbits in the driveway, and a mischievous fox. We ate more lobster rolls at Fin Folk Food than I’d care to admit and some quiet meals in. Having a washer, dryer and vacuum cleaner in the cottage is a real plus for those travelling with dogs. Five stars for us, our fourth year in a row visiting PEI, and this was our favourite rental. Thank you Jeff!

We stayed here for a week of our honeymoon and it was fantastic!! We walked the beach every day, we were close to nice restaurants but also cooked for ourselves in the kitchen. The views were incredible and we felt very comfortable in the space. Thank you Jeff, hopefully we'll be back soon!

We had a wonderful stay at The Fish Monger's Dream! The house itself is beautifully styled, modern, and offers breathtaking views.Relaxing in the hot tub was such a delicious addition after a day of exploring, and the charming spiral staircase added so much character to the space. We also loved having the record player as it set the perfect sound stage and cozy atmosphere for our entire trip.Our children had the best time and especially loved running along the path straight down to the beach!A tip for future guests: the evenings can get quite buggy, so definitely bring some bug spray so you can still enjoy the outdoors. Also, it’s worth noting that I believe the hosts live on the property next door, good to keep in mind if you are looking for absolute seclusion, as we occasionally got the sense they were checking in or collecting observations about our stay, The only downside to an otherwise great stay was our interaction with the host. Communication felt less than warm, particularly after checkout when it was suggested that we had taken a pillow from the property. We assuredly did not, and being accused left a bit of a bad aftertaste on what was otherwise a fantastic trip.

We had a wonderful time at this charming, unique and welcoming cottage! Our host, Jeff, was wonderful and the thought and care and creativity brought into creating this oasis is evident from the moment you pull up. It had all the amenities we could have needed and the peaceful, tranquil views are breathtaking! We feel lucky to have found this gem!!

Sadly, I didn't actually stay here though it looks like a great house. I was unable to make the trip, and cancelled the stay before the cancellation deadline and received a full refund. After the original dates of the booking, however, I received a notification that the host has left me a review, but I'm unable to see it unless I leave a review of my own, so I'm leaving a review to gain access to that review. I'm sure the house is great, and the host is great, but because I did not stay there, I did not personally experience either, and cannot offer any actual review for them.

Such a character filled, unique little piece of paradise. The views of the bay were absolutely amazing and watching the bald eagles fishing from the couch was a real treat! The location is ideal being only 8 mins from the gorgeous big beaches and even closer to Fin Folk restaurant and another impressive beach. We would definitely stay here again next time we are in P.E.I.! Thanks for a wonderful stay Jeff!

Seclusion on the North Coast

If you're looking for a sweet small place for the two of you, I recommend you stay here. The views, hot tub and coziness sets it apart from the rest. We had a wonderful time.

AMAZING STAY!

Had the best time - we were decompressing after our wedding. So much fun for us to use all the outdoor equipment provided, bikes, kayaks, paddle boards etc. The host Jeff was extremely accommodating, and we will definitely be back again!

I was born on the east coast and grew up here. After graduating from university here I left and travelled he world for 20 years. Along the way I got an MBA in international tourism from Adelaides University in Australia, hosted a travel-adventure TV series for 2 years (www.whichwayto.tv), and ran a tourism business in Tokyo, Japan. But I genuinely missed the north shore of this beautiful, simple little island so I moved back to start my family and my television production company (www.hbhproductions.com).

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

I chose this place because it's so beautiful, natural, friendly and simple. It's a little oasis from the chaos and madness of the 'outs' world! I love bird watching, beach walking, sunset bonfires and just enjoying the serenity of this little piece of paradise!

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

This property was built by an American over 40 years ago and was located down the shoreline. When I moved here I bought the old delapidated cottage and dragged it down the shore to this location. Then I spent 3 years gutting and renovating the entire place to the tranquil little oasis that it is today! The incredible views, abundant nature, and mesmerizing sunsets don't get any better!
