Resting on a quiet street surrounded by greenery while also being in close proximity to town and the beach sits Modern Harbor Escape the ideal Summer getaway home. The interior is sleek, clean, and is surrounded by windows allowing natural light to flood into every room on the mail level. Complete with gradients of whites and grays with pops of color, the kitchen, living room, and dining area are laid out in such a way so that those in your group can converse with one another all across the floor. The kitchen finished with stainless steel appliances has a gorgeous backsplash and white, marble island with three adjustable barstools. Mere steps from the kitchen sits the sleek, modern dining room table. Feel free to dine in this open area, or take the meal out the sliding glass door (mere steps away from the kitchen) to enjoy a cool Summer evening as the sun begins to set. The backyard space contains any amenity one could need for the perfect lounging day. Grab a book and relax on a lounge chair taking periodic dips in the pool to cool off, or play a game of your choice on the lawn surrounding the home. Whip up some burgers and dogs on the grill for a quintessential Summer BBQ. Utility Disclaimer:
Utility fees are included in the total rental amount. The guest shall be responsible for the costs associated with excessive usage of utilities during the term of the reservation. Excessive usage is defined as utility costs over $110.00 per night of the reservation.

Cleaning Disclaimer: One end of stay cleaning is included in the reservation total. For reservations longer than seven nights, one cleaning per week is mandatory. In-stay cleanings are the guest's expense.

Additional Guests: Additional persons are prohibited unless express approval is provided.

Events Policy: Events are prohibited

Pool Disclaimer: Due to the climate of the northeastern U.S., outdoor pools and attached hot tubs will typically only be available for use from Memorial Day to Labor Day. If your booking falls outside of that time frame and you intend to use the pool/hot tub, please be sure to inquire if they will be available for use prior to booking.
For energy conservation purposes, the pool heater may only be operational from 8am to 6pm.

Off-Season Disclaimer: It is typical that spring cleanings and updates do not take place until late April / early May. If your booking falls outside of Memorial Day to Labor Day, please inquire as to whether or not outdoor furniture and equipment will be available for use prior to booking.

Payment/Refund Policy: Unless otherwise stated on the property listing, all payments are non-refundable, however, should the guest elect to cancel its reservation, Marquis will use best efforts to work with the owner of the property to reopen the dates of the reservation in attempt to re-book the property (please note the decision to reopen dates is the owners'). Should Marquis be successful in re-booking the property for the original dates at the same or higher price than the original reservation, a refund less a 20% penalty, calculated as 20% on the total reservation amount, will be issued to the guest once payment is collected in full for the new reservation. If a new reservation is not made, the guest may use the property for the dates of its original reservation so long as payments have been made in accordance with the payment schedule established at the time of booking and Marquis is notified in writing 72 hours or more prior to the start of the reservation.

Payment Method: Balance payments made with credit card are capped at $3,500. Payments over $3,500 shall be made by check, ACH or wire.

Security Deposit Disclaimer: Although rare, accidental damage does happen during a stay. In lieu of a security deposit, guests can rest easy knowing that this property is covered with up to $5,000 of damage protection. Coverage details are provided in the booking agreement.

This property requires a separate booking agreement to be signed by both parties before the reservation is confirmed. Please inquire prior to booking.

While StayMarquis manages this listing, the guest experience is managed by the owner of this property, meaning all property preparation, arrival coordination, in-stay communication, and requests for maintenance tasks are performed by the owner. The house is exactly as pictured, well decorated, clean, newly renovated. The kitchen is well equipped, nice size bedrooms and bathrooms, nice fenced in backyard. It was perfect for a family of four and a little pup. The host was flexible on check in and check out and very reachable. I will definitely come back.

Quiet getaway

Both the house and the grounds were very clean and comfortable for the two of us and our small dog. Close to several towns; lots of options for restaurants and shopping. The immediate neighborhood wasn't ideal for taking the dog for walks, but the fenced in yard was great and we found a few parks/walking paths a short drive away. Communication with the host was clear and timely - thank you, we enjoyed our stay.

Gorgeous cozy space with extremely private and peaceful yard. The only issue we encountered is with spotty cell service in the region, but wifi for the property was robust and mapping and getting around was not a problem when using the wifi. We had our dog with us and loved that the whole property was fenced so she could run around. The host/property manager initiated contact and offered all necessary info for an easy stay. One of my favorite stays, would definitely return.
