Such a lovely space with incredible accommodations! Our dog loved looking longingly out the windows at the freshly fallen Vermont snow. It was a pretty picturesque Christmas!
My pup and I had the pleasure of staying in this lovely property for a long weekend. The space is beautifully decorated and comfortable. I greatly enjoyed the unusual art work too. I am pretty picky about noting a kitchen as well-stocked, but this kitchen certainly was! I felt safe there staying alone. Communication with the owner was smooth and helpful. I left something at the property and the owner mailed it back to me in a quick turnaround. I would definitely stay here again.
Beautiful home & setting. Responsive host. Loved being on the pond & having access to the kayaks. Many amenities. We had a great time at the Cabot cheese & fall festival.
Beautiful VT Farmhouse. If you are looking for a truly VT place to stay this is it lovely renovated farmhouse sitting right on a little Vermont pond close to everything you like to do hiking biking sightseeing right in the heart of the northeast kingdom in Cabot Vermont if youâre looking for white walls, chrome and square rooms keep scrolling. This is the second time we rented this house for our family and we would not put our family up in anything but the best Kathy Matthews.
Place was very dusty and many cobwebs. Location is nice with view of the pond, but roads getting around could be a little tricky. Comfort of beds left some to be desired. But sitting looking out main windows was delightful and sitting on the dock was great.
Love this beautiful farmhouse. So relaxing, peaceful, quiet and the beauty of the pond is amazing. The loons are extra special. The home has everything you need for a fabulous vacation away in Vermont.
Absolutely love this house and the location. Visited with my wife, dog and parents. Complete relaxation. Used the kayaks most days and fished from the canoe and row boat. Sadly no fish were caught but I'm sure they enjoyed the supply of fresh worms! I'd highly recommend.
Fully equipped kitchen. Very pet friendly. Beautiful views. The decore in the living area was a bit odd. Very scary for my almost 3 year old granddaughter. I would recommend replacing the African masks and other stuff with something a little less creepy. A couple of pieces are included. The kitchen is beautiful. We spent a lot of time in there. The claw foot tub in downstairs bathroom was not used. Not easily accessible for my mom and aunt as they are in their 70âs. The view of the lake is beautiful.
Though the weather was not the best, unfortunately. This place was a great getaway. Beautiful views of the water, and the property was very well manicured.
The pond and the pond access are amazing. Love how quiet it is. I wish I had had more time to read out there by the water. Thanks for a wonderful venue and very easy stay.
The farmhouse did appear to be recently renovated but the house smelled terrible. Seemed to be a combination of the very old furniture and the water. The property is obviously on a well and the water smelled terrible, especially in the downstairs bathroom. Would not recommend.
Enjoyed our weeks stay, as always. Beautiful farmhouse with everything you can think of for kitchen facilities and a beautiful water view. This very much feels like a family lives here. And the West Hill Pond is right out your back door, a pristine and private pond that is as large as many lakes and totally private. Only 4 or so houses on the entire pond. We particularly enjoyed a daily canoe around the pond and the call of the loons. Unique home and location.
Wow! We had the best time at Heatherâs house. The home is charming, comfortable, well equipped, and perfect for a family. Our kids had so much fun fishing and swimming in the pond. My favorite aspect of this home is lots of privacy and unbelievably views of the water from the kitchen and living room. Thank you Heather!
8 of my high school friends (now senior citizens) traveled with us to celebrate my 70th birthday. The house was comfortable and we all enjoyed staying there. The kitchen was perfect for feeding a big group. We were there during "mud season" so I'd suggest renting a 4 wheel drive vehicle and bringing boots.
