Feel at home in this well appointed, 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom city apartment. Sleeps 4 with a king bed and 2 singles.
This holiday unit is right in the heart of the city. Only steps to the Palmer street and City Lane restaurant districts, walking distance to the Queensland Country Bank stadium and a quick drive or escooter ride to Townsville's award-winning beach and Strand Park. The resort style pool and rooftop tennis courts offer amazing city views. Free, secure parking is available on site.
The living area is bright and airy with an open plan kitchen/dining/lounge with amazing natural light from the sliding glass doors leading to a private balcony with city views.
The master bedroom features a huge, super soft and luxurious king size bed and an ensuite with a shower, vanity and toilet, a double wardrobe and city views from the windows as well as balcony access.
In the second bedroom are 2 single beds adjoining a full bathroom with tub, toilet and sink. Sliding doors lead to an interesting internal patio with garden surrounds.
There is a private laundry with washer, sink and iron and ironing board. Please note that there is no dryer. A clothes airer is provided.
The kitchen is the best part of the space, as it's all brand new! Shiny new appliances, including a fridge, gas stove, oven and even a cute little dishwasher.
There is also a study with desk and chair for you to set up your laptop and get some work done.
In the heart of the city and on the banks of the river. You are walking distance to the Sunday markets, the nightclub strip, bars and restaurants. With escooters for hire, it's a quick ride or drive to the Strand and beachfront cafes, or iconic Castle hill and Queens Gardens. The Queensland country bank stadium is just over the footbridge and supermarkets, bottleshops and other services are only steps away. Everything you need is available in the immediate surrounds.
Getting around:
There are escooters for hire, free secure car parking onsite and easy access to public transport.
This is an inner city apartment, so please expect some street noise during your stay.
Guest access:
You'll have access to the resident's secure car park, the entire apartment all to yourself, use of the elevator and foyer and of course the amazing rooftop pool and barbecue area. You can use the tennis courts and gym cardio equipment too if exercise is your thing.
Other things to note:
. We will provide information about check in and parking when it gets closer to your booking date. There is a folder of important information on the bench (think Wi-Fi password, best places to eat, how to find the pool, and takeaway menus).
The apartment is on the 13th floor. Please ensure that children are supervised at all times, particularly around the balcony and windows.
There is a lift (elevator) in the building, but please make sure that you are comfortable with/ able to use the stairs in case of emergency or unplanned outages.
