Beautiful views looking over the Nelson Bay. Perfect spot if you have a car and want to explore Tasman region. Michelle was extremely helpful and the place had everything we needed.
We enjoyed our two nights at the farm shed. Great hosts. Lots to explore in the area and return to soak in the hot tub under the stars with a gorgeous view. Perfect spot for a getaway.
This stay was amazing, a very short drive to everything and only 10 minutes out of Richmond. The house was fully kitted with everything we needed and the hosts were outstanding. We could feed the animals, relax under the stars in the spa and even had a drink with the hosts who were so welcoming. Completely private stay. Would 100% stay again. Thanks Michelle and Nigel.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the views, the little touches, the breakfast, cleanliness and comfort, the spa, relaxing enviro - everything was just what we needed after our kayaking trip. Thank you Michelle and Nigel :)
The property was very clean. The bach was very well set up.
We did leave the used towels out on Saturday morning on the chair on the decking for fresh towels. They were unfortunately not replaced.
Dispite this we had a lovely stay.
Thank you
Michelle and Tony are awesome hosts of a lovely spacious studio âshedâ. You are rural, so 20-30 minutes drive to local sights, but you have fantastic views, youâre surrounded by their sheep and cows and your hosts have thought of everything. Theyâll assist you with day trips, restaurant and winery suggestions and anything else youâll need. Be sure to go to the local Moutere Hills Winery, friends of Michelle and Tony, for superb Chenin Blanc and lovely reds too. From the âshedâ, we ventured to Abel Tasman, by road up to Tataka and by boat north of Kaikerikeri, to Nelson as well as local stops in Mapua, Motueka and Kina Beach. Lovely food and view at Jellyfish in Mapua Harbour. We cannot recommend this spot or the hosts more highly.
Had everything we needed and more, the spa pool was divine, stunning views, so relaxing, central location, cute lambs to feed, bed was so comfy, lovely owners and lovely place to stay, highly recommend!!
We love meeting new people and hearing their stories. We are interested to know about you and what brought you to our beautiful part of the world. We love sharing this gorgeous place with our guests and pointing them in the direction of some of the coolest little places to visit. But if you prefer to keep to yourself we are all good with that too. If you love animals we have lots to look at and feed - we love showing them off If you are interested in booking a stay starting on a Monday or Wednesday please enquire as if there has been no one in it checking out it will be available. Because I work outside the property I have Mondays and Wednesdays blocked for booking as this allows me time to clean the unit before the next guest would be due, however if no one is in there I will have cleaned it.
We moved to the property as we needed more space for our business and animals. We fell in love with the view when we first visited the property which was just bare land in two paddocks. We are immensely proud of we have created here and love to share it with others.
The views are stunning as are the sunrises up over the French Pass and Tasman Bay, The unit site is all yours to relax in. There are breakfast supplies in unit. The kitchen is well maintained or cook on the bbq or Pizza Oven. Enjoy the views and night sky in the spa. Our lovely animals are a source of pride. They are so friendly you can safely get up close and personal with a cow or a sheep and give it a cuddle - people pay hundreds of dollars to that in other parts of the world - here you can do it for free
