It was a beautiful place the decor was excellent the breakfast was amazing and Beth the host was very aproachable we enjoyed it so much we are coming back for 3 days before we leave Tasmania Marian and David
Comfortable stay in a quiet area. You have a separate entrance and a little kitchenette with microwave, toaster and kettle. And we were given a tasty breakfast every morning. Communication was good. We stayed here for a week while visiting family and it was the second time we stayed here. Perfect for us!
We had one night in the Devonport area after coming off the Spirit of Tasmania, and the Red Door was a wonderful place to stay. Beth's communication before our visit was prompt and helpful, and we appreciated her restaurant recommendation. We also really appreciated being welcomed to check in early since the cottage booking schedule allowed for that. Breakfast was very nice--just what we'd requested.Definitely recommend the Red Door!
My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights.Beth gave us brekky every morning and even got our washing in off the line before it rained while we were out exploring the sites. Highly recommend this place.eamorning
Beth Kelly our hostess checked on us about our amenities and comfort. Everything showed her artistic flair and we were able to enjoy the outside (yard) where her arty and bric-a-brac belongings gave it extra interest. We recommend any couple wanting a great get away in North Tasmania to stay with Beth. The breakfasts were different and tasty on our 4 mornings.
What an amazing host, excellent and large breakfast, we were there for a week and loved every minute of it . the studio was a great size and very clean... 5 star in evrything
Charming, comfortable & peaceful. Beth was a delightful host who made the most delicious g.f. fruit muffins for one coeliac guest. The bed was very comfortable & warm. Our little lounge had a super little heater. Keep an eye out for many of Beth's quirky little objects & lovely art. Lovely garden. Easy walk into Ulverstone with it's marvellous Visitor Centre.
This is a lovely place to stay. Friendly owner, delicious breakfast, comfortable bed and artistic decor. Everything you could need is there. I drove and was mainly visiting family, but you could walk into Ulverstone and to the shops.
