Great family Getaway

The property was very cozy and as described. The dock and all th amenities were fantastic. The fishing was great from the dock and access to the boat ramp was a nice touch. Only one small issue with the coffee maker not working but very small inconvenience. Would recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful get away.

Misleading description

We were scheduled to stay for two nights at this VRBO. The pictures online made it look very clean, well maintained and inviting. However, upon arrival by a boat to this property, the dock that we had to tie up to was sinking and infested with ants. The yard was overall maintained well but the landscaping was growed up with trees and grass. There were broken windows to the house. The deck was filthy and covered with children's toys. The roof had moss on it and trees growing in the gutters. The check in process was super easy and easy to get into the house. You could tell that the owners had made upgrades to the appliances and the kitchen. However, the inside of the home was overall outdated. There was only one TV in the entire home which was in the living room and very small. The inside of the home was decorated with what appeared to be pretty old furniture and the carpet was old and stained. If someone was interested in historic dickel items they would have had a really good time looking at all the decorations within the home. But the mix match of ocean decorations and old antique items was weird. The home had a smell of dampness and mustiness. We only stayed one night after waking up feeling damp like we had slept outside in a tent. The home has super potential to be a good rental if some substantial upgrades were made to it. Renters should be aware that there is no availability to have any items delivered to this home due to its proximity to restaurants.

Beautiful

Wonderful place to get away and just enjoy the peace and quiet. We really enjoyed the property and how family friendly it was. Very well decorated. Could have used a pressure wash just to remove all the spider webs and such and a couple things were broken but I would most definitely recommend this home it’s absolutely worth it. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your wonderful property!

Great well equipped house in a beautiful location.

My family enjoyed every minute in this house. We were so impressed that it had everything we could need. The porch was a comfortable place to relax and enjoy the view. The owner was very responsive when we reached out. We will absolutely rent this home again next time we are staying on KY lake.

Kentucky Lake Vacation

The house was amazing! 3 bedrooms/2 baths, kitchen had everything. Access to the lake and the private dock really worked out great. Outdoor grill and deck were fabulous. Location in the cove and proximity to the marina was were we wanted to be. Everything worked in the house, wifi did great, the yard was well kept. The view of the lake, from all the windows is what my family kept commenting on. It was gorgeous!!!!!!!

Awesome Rental

Omg....such a wonderful place to rent and enjoy the view of the lake along with peace & quiet. We enjoyed viewing the different birds there along with seeing turtles lounging on logs in the water and also geese families with their babies. I would suggest that whoever rents this place to bring their binoculars with them. We are so glad we did, so that we could see closer views down on the lake. I give this place 100+ stars. Rent it....you won't be disappointed!! Thank you Mike for all your help on our stay. You were great!
