Grandma's house was built by the family in the mid 50's. We love spending time in this cozy and homey retreat. The neighborhood is well established and quiet. The area is typical Florida eclectic. Houses of all different types. The location has numerous shopping an dinning opportunities available and about 10 - 15 minutes to all of the downtown area. The beaches are about 25 minutes away. Our favorite beach is Johnson Beach National Seashore. It is all natural and you can always find a private space to enjoy with family. We have beach chairs, towels, umbrella, and various beach stuff available for your use.
Everything went well. The name of this property is very accurate. We enjoyed our stay for 2 nights. We has some issues with the shower head that the property managers said they would take care of. We were there on business and this worked very well for us. There was a nice work desk in one of the bedrooms and that was great to have.
Property managers were very nice and clear about instructions. Neighborhood was old and not in a great location but there were plenty of places to shop and we needed to be near NAS Pensacola, which we were. Also, the price was good and we had a two day stay. We didnât hang out at the house much but it was good for what we needed.
House was wonderful. Had space so that others that needed a place could come there was able to have all the siblings one night to reminisce about the sister we lost. Only issue we really had was the dishes werenât as clean but since so many people Iâm sure in and out of there thatâs to be expected
If you want to be reminded of your grandmother's house and kitchen this is the place to do just that! Everything was updated in living room and bedrooms. Bathroom was kept vintage with updated sink and toilet. Plenty of seating in living room. Nice backyard with fence for our dog. 4th bedroom is an addition and has several steps but it was really big and totally retro. Lots of cooking utensils and the laundry room was great. We loved the carport especially because it was raining really hard as we were packing up to leave. It was big enough for our 2 cars and possibly a 3rd. The neighborhood is older but it was very quiet and the houses across the street were nice and well maintained. A Walmart is about .3 miles away with lots of restaurants. I loved the ramp especially since i am confined to a wheelchair. The Roku tvs were great just needed a code if you need to add an app to watch but we found the shows and March madness with no issues. Hostess Sara was awesome and answered all texts. It was difficult to get in the back door which has a little step up and 2 doors to hold open. The fridge made it tough to get thru the kitchen area because it sticks out a good 6 inches into the doorway. I was able to use my electric chair to get in, thankfully. Some of the lights and fan did not work in living room and the clock needed a battery, no big deal but i kept looking at it for the time. Aside from that it was great and close to where we needed to be within 15 mins. We
