Welcome to Livin’ on Lake Time, a gorgeous and luxurious five-bedroom waterfront townhouse, boasting breathtaking views of the iconic Remarkables mountain range. This chic retreat nestled into The Point complex offers direct access to the fantastic Frankton Track, a peaceful front row seat of stunning Lake Wakatipu, and a convenient location from central Queenstown.

VIEWS:
Soak in the uninterrupted views of Lake Wakatipu, and Queenstown’s iconic alpine vistas including the Kelvin Heights Peninsula, Cecil Peak, Walter Peak, the Crown Range and the Remarkables. Elevated yet separated from the lake only by the walking track in front
 you simply can’t get much closer to the water’s edge than this! The location offers a stunningly peaceful outlook from the large windows in the living space or the front bedrooms below, just as if the lake is lapping your toes.

LOCATION:
Livin’ on Lake Time is situated at the Queenstown end of Frankton Road. The vibrant town centre is only a short 4-minute drive by car, 10-minute bike ride, or a flat 25-minute walk via the lakeside Frankton Track, which is metres from the doorstep. A 40-minute walk along the track in the opposite direction will lead to Frankton Marina, the highly regarded Boatshed cafĂ© and a craft brewery, or if you’re exploring by bike the track ambles around the lake edge from here past Frankton Beach, the Kelvin Heights golf course and as far as Jack’s Point. Guests are also just an 8-minute drive from the International Airport and for winter guests, Coronet Peak ski field is an easy 26-minute drive away.

STYLE:
This home has been recently and thoughtfully refurbished, providing guests a luxurious homebase while in Queenstown. Spread across three levels and accessed via the open plan living area, this apartment has a chic yet cosy style with a mountain lake vibe and has all you need for a comfortable and amazing stay.

BEDROOMS & BATHROOMS:
With five bedrooms spread across two levels this is a great home for groups or families travelling together. The master bedroom on the middle level has stunning lake views, a private balcony, Smart TV and ensuite with separate shower and jetted spa bathtub. Bedroom 2 also has beautiful lake views and a Smart TV. Bedroom 3 and a shared bathroom are also on this middle level. Bedrooms 4 & 5 are on the ground level, along with a smaller shower room and separate toilet. Bedroom 4 has lake views and a Smart TV. Bedroom 5 has a Queen bed, but is the smallest bedroom. All three bathrooms have luxury toiletries and hair dryers provided.

* Split Super King bed can be made up as 2 x singles, providing excellent flexibility for groups. Please advise your preference when booking.

LIVING AREA:
The open plan living room is bright and welcoming, with beautiful natural light and plenty of seating options, a large Smart TV, and a lake facing balcony. Simply enjoy the outstanding views from this space; it’s hard to take your eyes away from the serene water and majestic mountains! For winter guests there is a heat pump on this level and an open fireplace, perfect for cosy nights at home after a day on the slopes.

KITCHEN & DINING:
The kitchen is well-appointed with a spacious pantry, espresso machine and pretty much anything you need. The adjacent dining area has seating for eight and offers a comfortable setting to enjoy delightful meals while taking in the picturesque views of the surrounding landscape. There is outdoor seating for four on the balcony along with bench seating, a peaceful spot to enjoy your morning coffee.

OUTDOORS:
The Point complex has a private tennis court, which is conveniently located right next door to the townhouse and racquets are provided for guest use. Make the most of the Frankton Track, beautiful in either direction by bike or on foot. There are many places to rent bikes in Queenstown and our concierge services are happy to advise or make reservations on your behalf. There is a small private jetty/dock on the lake in front that is solely for the complex use – a great place for a picnic or to sunbathe! This home is the perfect place to give you a private and relaxing retreat away from the hustle and bustle of central Queenstown, but all the attractions are still easily accessible by car, on foot or by bike.

OTHER PRACTICALITIES:
In the garage, there is plenty of space for skis or bike storage. There is open parking in marked spaces throughout the complex, including a few spots right in front. Please note the garage is not available for guest parking, and campervans, boats, jet skis and trailers are not permitted to be brought into The Point complex. There are full laundry facilities on the second floor, an additional heat pump on the ground floor, and wall-installed electric heaters in each of the bedrooms.

The hot water in the home comes from a large full-size hot water cylinder. If an excessive amount of hot water is used in a short time (like with very long showers or lots of showers back-to-back) the hot water can run out before the cylinder has a chance to heat more. When that happens, you will need to wait for the cold water in the cylinder to reheat. To help avoid this, we kindly ask guests to be mindful of hot water use and we recommend that you space out showers where possible. Most bookings do not have any issues.

RATES, INCLUSIONS & MINIMUM STAYS:
Rates are inclusive of 15% GST and for a maximum of 10 guests. A departure clean fee of NZ$450 applies. Bookings of 8 nights or more receive a service clean. Minimum 3-night stay year-round, and 4-6 nights during peak periods.

Credit card fees are non-refundable. This is important to be aware of if you choose to pay your balance ahead of the due date.

‱Guest(s) making a booking must be over 25 years of age. Any guests under 25 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the duration of their stay.

‱A standard exit clean is included in your booking; however, you are expected to leave the property in a satisfactory state. Excessively littered and/or dirty conditions at departure will result in extended housekeeping hours being charged. This may include carpet cleaning or excessive rubbish removal for example.

‱Livin on Lake Time is a residential dwelling and no parties or events are to be held.

‱Please be mindful that the property is located in a residential area and be courteous to your neighbours. Quiet hours are to be observed between 10pm and 9am as per Resource Consent.

‱Do not park in front of any neighbor’s garage. Parking is first come first serve within the marked parking spots.

‱The Property is a smoke, drug and animal free area.

‱We are required to take a security bond pre-authorisation in the event of any damage to the property. The guest will be notified immediately should a charge need to be taken.

Queenstown marathon

Wonderful property for the 9 of us visiting for the marathon (and other sightseeing). Great location for all of our activities. Number of bedrooms and bathrooms was perfect for our needs and it was nice having the living space on the entry floor, so we could have beautiful views. Amenities were as detailed, and the kitchen was well appointed for us to make group meals. Definitely recommend.
