The Best in Town

Absolutely loved our stay here! Wonderful location and such a beautiful home! Everything was very clean, mattresses were very comfortable, and the kitchen had all the necessary items to cook meals. We have been vacationing in the Dunes area for 4 years and this is the best place we have stayed, will definitely stay here again!!

The house was very spacious, clean, and nicely decorated. The basement was set up really cute and our kids enjoyed the ping pong table! We also liked being able to walk to downtown Chesterton as well as a neighborhood park.

First time stay

This was my first time staying in Chesterton. The house is beautiful! My bf and I played scramble and enjoyed sitting on the porch watching the storms come in. It was a great stay!

Enchanted cottage

We were having a family reunion and two birthday parties at our family home in Chesterton with 42 people so renting this house for my adult children snd their kids was just perfect!!! Everyone just loved the space and the old fashioned vibe from the beautifully remodeled home.

We love this house. This is the second time we’ve stayed here and as long as it’s available we’ll never look to stay anywhere else. It has everything we need. Plenty of space for our family of 6 to be comfortable, a big backyard for playing outside, located in a very quiet neighborhood, a fully stocked kitchen and best of all, it’s very clean! Also the host contact has been wonderful to work with. It’s a great vacation home and we hope to stay here for many years to come!

The cutest, most accommodating house we’ve ever stayed at!

This house was perfect for us! The neighborhood was great for morning walks and was very quaint. The house is decorated beautifully and had all the space we needed. My kids enjoyed playing in the big backyard and the outdoor seating areas were wonderful! The house was very clean. The only thing that could be improved on was that it looked like someone had let their pet do its business on some of the decking and didn’t clean up after them. That being said there was no evidence of pet messes inside the house. When we visit again next year we will definitely check to see if this house is available!

Perfect house

We used this house for a family get away and it was wonderful. The host was prompt when I messaged her with a question. The ping pong table was a lot of fun if you are just playing for fun. The table is warped a bit. A nice 10 minute walk into town for breakfast or coffee. Nice neighborhood. The house has a lot of room. Only thing…if you are a light sleeper the trains might keep you up at night. Half our group didn’t hear them and half were woken up several times in the night. All in all it was great. My teenage daughter said she’d like to stay again.

The little things

The house was cozy, very clean, and beautifully decorated. They really ensured we had everything we needed. The kitchen was fully stocked, had a full coffee bar, welcome snacks, cleaning products and even paper towels. The beds were comfortable and came with plenty of extra blankets and pillows. The primary bedroom had an additional sitting room to the side, perfect for an air mattress for the kiddos. The bathrooms had plenty of toilet paper, nice shampoo, conditioner, soap, and lotion and the softest bath towels I have ever used. I am particularly impressed by this because most places we have stayed do not offer these amenities and we have to remember to bring it ourselves. It’s small details like this that make this place feel like a home away from home. Thank you for letting us borrow your home, next time we are in town we know where we will be staying. luxuries.

Really enjoyed our stay !Host communication was excellent. Property was exactly as listed, clean and very well stocked.Other then food, there was nothing we wanted for.Example, it is unusual for a host to include night lights.Location to downtown Chesterton, restaurants, and parks was perfect.Would definitely stay again.Thanks so much for making our family gathering such a pleasurable experience :-)

Nicely decorated and clean home! Location close to dunes and roads leading to Chicago. The nearby train sounds and shaking did wake us up. The host was welcoming and had good contact throughout the stay. A few items could be updated to be more usable like the swings and ping pong table.
