Channel the ambience of Hobartâs colonial past while living in comfort at this reimagined c1855 heritage cottage with shops, buses and humming eateries on your doorstep, and Hobartâs CBD attractions all within walking distance. Small but thoughtfully appointed, it features an open-plan living and dining space warmed by a cosy wood fireplace, a well-equipped kitchen, private covered terrace and rear lawn with views to Mount Wellington.
Evoking the ambience of a terrace house, you'll arrive at a striking red door that opens into the inviting dining and lounge area featuring a high-raked ceiling and skylight windows. The timber-benched kitchen is equipped with a stove and a servery opening to the courtyard. Dine on the oak table or slip outside to discover a private covered courtyard with alfresco seating where you can enjoy breakfast as you breathe in the fresh Tasmanian air. From the backyard, take in stunning views of Mount Wellington with its peak occasionally iced with snow.
Thereâs a double bedroom and decorative fireplace on the entry-level, while internal stairs lead from the living space to a large loft-style bedroom with a queen bed. The bathroom is equipped with a timber vanity top and an enclosed shower. Thereâs no car space attached to the property, however, itâs easy to find all-day parking in one of the surrounding side streets within a super-short stroll of the residence. The shed houses an in-unit washer and dryer for your convenience.
During your stay, you and your group will have the entire cottage to yourselves. Please make yourselves at home!
