The Birds Nest - Cosy Chalet

Cosy quiet chalet close to Takaka township, perfect for romantic getaways or time with friends and family. The chalet is comfortably furnished for 4 people with all you need for a short or long stay.

Nestled in between the Abel Tasman National Park, Kahurangi National Park and with the many beaches of Golden Bay, this is the perfect location to explore this beautiful part of New Zealand.

Minimum 2 night stay. Great facilities. Private space including garden. Parking for 2 cars.

The space
The Birds Nest is a two bedroom chalet with a large open plan living area with modern furnishings. It is totally self-contained with a private garden.

The kitchen has a stove, microwave and dishwasher. The two queen bedrooms have heating, lots of storage and electric blankets. There is a shower room with separate toilet, washing machine and clothes line, and heat pump. Books, magazines and boardgames will ensure you have a relaxing time. Netflix and Wifi are provided.

Guest access
The Birds Nest chalet is accessed via a driveway (past the blue house and 3 bay shed).

Other things to note
The Birds Nest is in a beautiful rural location. The sound of the great outdoors is very present here, the bird song starts early, we have sheep and cows as neighbours.

We provide free guest Wi-Fi and mobile phone reception is good. The Birds Nest has a guest Netflix account.
