Destination parfaite pour les vacances de votre famille. Vue de face du lac Budd et couchers de soleil du soir. Aucune heure de réveil en vigueur de 19h30 à 11h00 sont parfaits pour la pêche ou le kayak. Les vues arrière sont de beaux bois privés. Patio avec meubles de patio, foyer au gaz et barbecue à gaz.
Mise à jour ouverte salon / cuisine plan d'étage. Cuisine entièrement équipée avec lave-vaisselle, micro-ondes, élimination, cuisinière à gaz, réfrigérateur côte à côte. Maître avec salle de bain en suite. Trois chambres supplémentaires sont à l'extrémité opposée de la maison avec baignoire séparée. Salle familiale au niveau inférieur avec foyer électrique. Great little getaway on Budd Lake

Gorgeous, well-kept cottage on a quiet street on Budd Lake. After traveling for several hours, it was wonderful to walk into this warm and cozy little oasis.

Great place to stay

The cozy cottage is our home away from home when we are visiting with family in Harrison. We have stayed here many times. It's a great set up for 2 couples. It's perfect for our needs, but we would consider staying at any of Sue's cottages. We have seen them all and she has done a great job with each of them. Sue is a pleasure to work with.

Perfect second cottage for our growing family!

We own a cottage farther down Hillcrest and your property allowed everyone comfort and privacy when needed for sleeping but close enough for lots of together time during the day! We would definitely stay here another year if the opportunity arises!

Great Place to Stay

What more do we need to say then this is our third time staying at the Cozy Cottage and we look forward to staying there again. Sue is always very helpful and does a great job decorating, especially for our Christmas stays. The kitchen is well equipped and the beds are very comfortable.

Wonderful Stay

The property is as you see it online. Very Clean and well kept. Patio was amazing for our stay and very inviting to use. Tons of amenities and kitchen stocked well with numerous kitchen items. Will stay here again when we visit family in Michigan.

Cozy Cottage

We loved this place! It was warm and inviting. The patio was secluded and nicely landscaped. It was spotless and very nicely decorated. The little beach are was lovely. The weather was not swimming weather, but we still enjoyed the sunset by the water.

Golf weekend

This is a very cozy and extra clean home. Owner accommodated our Keriug request which was amazing. Home is within minutes from both golf courses we played! Highly recommend!!!

4th time staying

This was the fourth time we have stayed here so that means we are extremely happy with everything. Sue is easy to communicate with. She goes out of her way to make you feel comfortable staying there. She is open to suggestions. The house is lovely & very comfortable in the late summer or winter, the seasons we have stayed there.

Perfect Weekend Gathering Spot

We were in town for a canoe trip, but it rained most of the day we were supposed to canoe so we got out the card table and extra chairs and played euchre instead. We also ordered BBQ brisket from town next to Walraven’s. Top notch! Using our kitchen we were able to make a salad and create quite a buffet and still have room for people to sit. There were eight people staying at the cottage and two additional friends came over. The cottage accommodated all of us. Plenty of spaces for people to spread out. Three separate bedrooms as well as outside spaces. Parking was also adequate for four vehicles. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly. We enjoyed Netflix on the main TV in the living room. The beds are comfortable (with the exception of the pullout) and all linens are very nice. The design and decor are updated and welcoming. Our hosts were helpful and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice, but falls short of past rental experiences.

The house was nice, but the owner seemed to expect more from the renters than other homes we have rented and we have rented several different houses. We arrived and checked out the notebook at the front door that explained things around the house and discovered that even though we paid a cleaning fee, common in other homes we have rented, we were expected to wash the towels and strip the beds before we left, not common. We had noticed when we arrived there were many potted plants outside and patio furniture with fabric cushions. The weather during our stay was over 90 degrees and predictions of rain, so we were asked to water plants and cover furniture if we thought it was going to rain. These things may have been irritating but we next discovered that the TVs did not seem to work. As we were contacting the owner, we found a modem in the basement, a basement that while finished smelled so musty I would not want to sit down there. We also found some chicken scratched instructions on several electronics booklets in the notebook. We also received a response from the owner informing us that we had to have a Spectrum app on our phones in order to make the TVs work. While that was off putting, it only became more frustrating when we tried to use the app, but could not make that work either. The owner continued to message us stating that we were the only visitors to have problems with the TVs, no other helpful information to get the TVs working. The owner while not offering any help did suggest that the elderly persons within our family might want to pass their time, with kid’s coloring books, cards and kid’s games that were provided, none of which I recognized. Also upon arrival we needed to move all the chachkies to utilize any of the tabletop spaces for our things. Its quite obvious the owner is interested strictly in her ability to showcase design and form atmosphere over function. The house served its function in that we had a place to sleep, but I could have gotten that in a hotel. However, I do not think it unreasonable to expect more given our experience renting other homes and what I paid to stay in this house. If you have expectations based on other home rentals experiences, I would not recommend this house. Nor will I utilize homeaway application again for this experience.

Second stay

This is the second time we stayed at the Cozy Cottage. The first time was to spend Christmas 2021with family in the area. It was perfect for us; a great space and Sue was a great host. We liked it so much we decided to stay there again when we were visiting family in September for a few weeks. This time we got to enjoy the outdoor spaces -- the fire pit, a table for eating outdoors and outdoor games for our grandnieces and nephews. We will be back again! Thanks Sue and Ed.

Cozy, restful place to stay to end our our summer vacation

We were so happy to find this house for our family to stay at while we were in town for our kids’ mountain bike races at the college. We all slept so well because of the comfy beds and ceiling fans in every room!!! We cooked a lot of meals at the house and the beautiful, stocked kitchen made that more enjoyable! The grocery store was so close and there’s a really good coffee shop/bakery/boutique a couple of minutes from the house in Harrison called Up North Coffee. If our kids race at Mid Michigan College in the future we would definitely try to stay here again!

Clean, cozy cottage with a beautiful outdoor space

We really enjoyed our long weekend at the cozy cottage! The outdoor space exceeded all expectations - very private, spacious and comfortable. The cottage is so welcoming and comfortable, with everything in it you could need, including beach towels! We will look forward to visiting again.

Family Vacation #1

We had a fabulous time staying at the Cozy Cottage. The place was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. We enjoyed the back yard for every meal and played with the two friendly cats that greeted us. Because the back door was off the den with the pull-out sofa (4th bedroom), it was a little invasive going through to the backyard. We simply used the front door. The den space may be best for kids rather than full size adults. Nearby Wilson State Park was great for swimming & kayaking. Thank you, Sue & Ed for having us.

Perfect Getaway!

Sue has thought of every detail! This cabin is adorable, tastefully decorated, and has all the comforts of home. Great back patio for sitting by a fire in the evening. It is a very short walk down to the community beach. Beach is sandy and were the only ones there. Would highly recommend!

Budd lake house

Great little rental on Budd lake. The house was perfect, and the back patio was great. The house was a bit dusty however everything else was neat and tidy. The master bath shower knob was broken, as well as the head in the spare bathroom. The beach was very close by, however it was quite small but useable. We had a mini family reunion and everyone enjoyed the time at the house.

An excellent stay! Will do it again.

The property was clean and updated. We had a very good time and will definitely consider staying at one of the properties should we vacation in this area again. We walked the surrounding area, rented a pontoon boat, went golfing, and used the full kitchen to prepare meals. 5 star experience.

Cozy cottage is a great place to stay

The cozy cottage was a great place for us to stay while celebrating Christmas with family who live in Harrison. It has a great layout and is attractive and comfortably furnished. The family room in the basement was a great room to gather in and there were plenty of toys and games for both adults and children. We were so pleasantly surprised when we saw how nicely Sue had decorated the cottage for the holidays – thanks for the extra effort Sue. We hope to return again.

We love Budd lake and the friendly town of Harrison. We know you will too.
We have previously owned a B & B and always enjoyed meeting our guests.
I am an interior decorator and my husband and I own an event and wedding planning business. We rent specialty linens, chair covers, party items and over 3500 costumes!

Our guests love the decor and cleanliness of the home. Comfortable bedding is another favorite comment of our guests. The yard has beautiful gardens, a gas fire pit overlooking the wooded back yard and is close to the neighborhood beach. A wagon, beach chairs, beach towels, and noodles are provided for our guests.
