Thank you so much for your kind words! With regards to the personal items. We live at this property full time and have guests like yourselves nearly every weekend in the summer. A lot goes into preparing the house and property for each guest and removing all of our personal items each week would be a challenge. Nothing of significant sentimental value that isn’t replaceable is on the premises and we always aim to make people feel welcome! :)

Hi Lyndsey, I'm very sorry to see this review. The hot tub is checked before every guest arrives, both the quality and the temperature of water. The previous guests had used it with no issues and everything was up and running prior to your arrival. Unfortunately some things are beyond my control. As soon as we received your message at 9:00 pm, I immediately offered to come down and try and fix it as we were only 5 minutes away which you declined, our handyman came in the morning and was able to fix it immediately. I offered you the option to stay as long as you liked past check out time in order to make the most of the next day. When you requested a discount off your stay when you checked out, I immediately offered you $200, as well as an additional discount if you wanted to come back another time. After the arrived, our cleaning lady informed me that there was wax all over the marble bathroom vanity and scraping it off was going to cause damage. I did not ask for anything in return for that damage, and I had already issued the agreed upon $200 at that point, as is documented in our discussion, as well as confirmed with VRBO, so that statement is not accurate. I was simply sharing some feedback. Particularly as I had offered you a discounted stay in the future. I am disappointed as this is our first review that is not 5 stars across both booking platforms we use, but we feel we did all we could and once again, I'm sorry for your experience. Elise
