The space
The resort property of Fireside Lodge is located in a secluded bay on Little Vermilion Lake. The season of operation is May through September. This cabin is exceptionally well maintained and provides modern comfort in the wilderness of the Boreal Forest. It is spacious for recreational visitors and uncluttered for the business traveler. The fully appointed kitchen provides an independent stay and take-out meals available for purchase in the main lodge provide convenience. This cabin is a peaceful hideaway for whatever path brought you here. Refer to the photos for the location of the cabin on the property grounds. The resort atmosphere compliments a family retreat as well as a business conference if your search is for multiple accommodations in one location.
Guest access
The main lodge is a great place to meet other travelers, check your email, play a quiet board game and to relax in the atmosphere of the days gone by in the north woods. History abounds within the original timbers surrounding your untroubled moments spent in a cozy chair looking out at the lake. The front porch will hum with gratefulness as the magnificent sunset marks the end of another day.

With groceries and essentials only 20 minutes away in town, this cabin provides both remoteness and convenience. Golf, hike Sioux Mountain or attend your business meeting with a short drive up the highway. You will find a Guide Book in your cabin including helpful information regarding local amenities.
