The unit was furnished but small, it included one bed, a small table, one bathroom, and a kitchen. There was no living room or couch.*Functionality: The kitchen was functional, but it was difficult to cook because it lacked basic cooking essentials such as utensils, forks, spoons, a cutting board, and oven mitts.*Location: The property is conveniently located close to downtown. Guests should be aware that there are a significant number of homeless individuals in the surrounding area, particularly at night. On one occasion, I went for an early morning jog and found someone sleeping in front of the building's entrance.*Space & Building Condition: The space felt quite small for the price. As this is an older building, it appears to have HVAC or ventilation issues. Once inside the building, there was very little air circulation, which made it uncomfortable during humid weather.*Cleanliness: This was my biggest concern. The building would benefit from more frequent cleaning. During my month-long stay, I rarely saw the hallways being vacuumed. The hallway carpets appeared to need both vacuuming and steam cleaning, and there was a persistent unpleasant odor in the hallway. I also noticed a couple of cockroaches crawling inside my unit.Communication: On a positive note, communication with the host was excellent and maintenance requests were addressed quickly.Overall I would rate my experience 2 out of 5 stars.
