Great Relaxation

This house was perfect for our group and dog! We thought we would go out hiking more, but the house is right on the water with amenities to enjoy it. Thanks for letting us stay!

Beautiful place with great sunsets! The host suggested the beautiful Fayette Beach, that was our favorite part of the trip and great for our kiddos. We went to Kitch-itI-kippi which was cool, and took a day trip to Pictured Rocks. Try some smoked whitefish if you haven’t, so good.

Fantastic house and location

We had a lovely and relaxing vacation, and really enjoyed hanging out at the lake, and eating out and sitting on the decks (both in front and back of the house). The house is also very well equipped with all amenities, including kayaks and paddleboards. The location is very quiet and serene, and within driving distance to various locations in the UP. We also enjoyed eating at the very nice Dock Grill and Bar restaurant which is less than a 5 minute walk from the house. We will definitely stay again when we are back in the area.

Beautiful location and nice house

This was such a nice place to stay. The house is very nice, it was really well furnished and supplied. The place was super clean and the host was super nice! Very close to pictured rock and Canada 😊 Very comfortable beds and furnishings. The patio was wonderful as was hot tub. Highly recommend!

Mini Moon Stay

We had a wonderful time on our mini moon in the UP. The home was on a beautiful property with breathtaking sunsets. It was so nice being able to bring our pups with us! The home was beautiful and highly recommend!

Relaxing vacation

Beautiful views off of private deck. Clean and comfortable house with a spacious kitchen and nice appliances. Walk right into the water from the backyard which our dogs enjoyed. Area was quiet and nice to take a walk around.

Great Getaway!

Our four night getaway prior to school starting was the unplugged family time we needed! The internet and TV were available in this wonderful Garden home, it is just that we didn't use them because there was so much to do that didn't involve technology. We were kayaking, fishing (with a Michigan fishing license), swimming, watching the stars from the hot tub, exploring, and bonding! We will be back!!! game time

Amazing views, waterfront and nature

We booked the cabin to be down the street from family. WOW-this was an A+ visit! Mark has thought of everything. We kayaked, walked on the dock, walked to Docks Restaurant (about 1/10 of a mile) snorkeled near the shore and enjoyed the hot tub. The wildlife is amazing and you will see a variety of birds, deer, eagles and geese. We were here for Persieds meteor shower AND the Northern lights-absolutely amazing. Well appointed kitchen and place is clean. We felt secure with our pups there but as we have small dogs, kept and eye on them because of the wildlife.

First time visit

We brought our pup with us and the house is very dog friendly! We were able to cook every day with the well equipped kitchen! The stove is amazing!!!!! Also, you never know what utensils/cooking tools might be at a house when you rent it and this one had basically everything. We did end up buying a crockpot and we left it there for others to use. The house was very cozy and the views were spectacular! The area was very peaceful, hardly any traffic as it is a dead end. It wasn't very far to places such as Pictured Rocks and Kitch-iti-kipi, which are a must to see. Definitely would recommend!

Clean, Quiet, Well Appointed

We stayed for three nights in late July and immediately wished we had planned to stay longer. The house is nicely furnished and has everything you need. The kitchen in particular is well stocked with necessities and appliances. The view is great from the multitude of large windows. Communication with the property manager was very easy and unobtrusive. The Dock restaurant is just a few steps away and we really enjoyed our dinner there. There are several kayaks and a canoe provided for guests to enjoy as well. Be aware that Lake Michigan is rocky in this area so you will want some water shoes for wading, or enter the water from the ladder provided at the end of the dock. If we're back in the area again, we would definitely stay here.

Eagles and hummers and deer, oh my!

Finding the gardens blooming and bird feeders full was a delightful surprise that provided constant entertainment. Eagles, goldfinches, hummingbirds, deer, and Turkey visited every day. We enjoyed watching the awesome sunset views from every seating option available...deck, firepit, hotub, and dock Adirondacks, which will be your favorite? Paddling the kayaks around the local bay, walking to The Dock restaurant for delicious fish, visiting Fayette State Park, and using the high-end kitchen (and BBQ) were highlights. Appreciated the high-quality kitchen appliances and laundry! Really comfortable space, super easy to find, check in and check out were a breeze and our host was quick to answer questions.
