Great Place in Harvard!

We were visiting family in a nearby city and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this quaint cottage. The owners thoughtfully designed this space to feel spacious and cozy all at the same time. The owners were also proactive with communication which was greatly appreciated.

We needed a place to sleep for the weekend while we visited for a friend's wedding and our expectations were far exceeded! The cottage was spotless, homey, and there were so many little touches that made it feel like home. Highly recommend!

Mom and Dad Getaway

A nice little piece of heaven. The cottage was perfect and absolutely beautiful. The hosts were easy to communicate with and very thoughtful with every detail put into making us feel welcome. Located close to the downtown area and the Rush Creek Distillery. Get your nice quiet getaway at this Harvard cottage. Oh and we were welcomed with the most delicious fresh chocolate chip cookies!

What an amazing stay!

We came in for a girls weekend, and for The Black and Gold Ball in Rockford. The cottage is beautiful, and Doug and Mari are the greatest hosts we’ve experienced ever! We were welcomed with freshly baked chocolate chip cookies, and the cottage was so welcoming and comfortable to stay. They have the cutest chicken coop in the back yard and they provided us with fresh eggs! There’s also a nice patio area and they supplied all the things to make s’mores! We can’t wait to come back for another stay!

Perfect Place

The cottage was a perfect place in multiple ways. Everything one could need for kitchen use was there. We were gifted with fresh eggs, cookies! The cottage is beautifully decorated. Bathroom sink was high and I just might use that idea for a new bathroom sink.

Perfection!

Nicest stay ever. Home was clean, owners were so friendly and gracious. I was greeted by fresh cookies, eggs from their chickens, and veggies from their garden. There was attention to detail in every corner of the home. The area felt super safe and is in a wonderful neighborhood. I will be back!

Charming Cottage Getaway near Lake Geneva

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this charming cottage near Lake Geneva for a wedding we attended this past weekend. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the cleanliness and attention to detail. The cottage was spotless and provided all the kitchen, bathroom, and laundry materials we could possibly need throughout our stay.The hosts were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay special. We were greeted with fresh baked welcome cookies, personalized koozies, a warm welcome letter, and a basket of fresh eggs from their chicken coop, with an invitation to gather more if we ran out. They even provided a complimentary s'mores making kit, which was a delightful touch. To make our stay even more comfortable, they rolled an extra bed into the cottage for my brother-in-law.The location was perfect—easy to find and situated in an adorable, quiet neighborhood. It was just a short 15-minute drive to the lake, making it convenient for our wedding events.Overall, this cottage exceeded our expectations in every way. We highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Lake Geneva area and look forward to returning in the future.

Retreat

As usual, the cottage provided all that was needed for a perfect stay. The attention to detail is outstanding. We have stayed at least 5 times and continue to uncover quiet gems that make the visit so special We will be back!
