Other Things to Note:
Parking:
Parking is permitted only directly in front of the cabin or in the gravel area just below the firepit (located on the left side of the road before reaching the driveway). The driveway beyond the cabin belongs to a neighbor and is private propertyâplease do not park past the cabin. Parking is limited to 4 small cars or 2 SUVs and 1 small car. Please refer to the photos for designated parking areas.
Internet:
Like most mountain cabins, the home uses satellite internet, which can be slow and unreliable. If you require fast, consistent Wi-Fi for work, Buckâs CafĂ©âjust 10 minutes awayâoffers great coffee, pastries, and an excellent workspace. If reliable in-home Wi-Fi is essential, this cabin may not be the best fit.
Restricted Areas:
All garages, sheds, crawlspaces, and mechanical or maintenance areas (interior and exterior) are strictly off-limits. This includes areas under decks and near HVAC or other equipment. By booking, guests agree to waive liability related to entering these restricted areas. If access is needed for any reason, please message us first so we can assist.
Vehicle Recommendation:
A 4WD vehicle is strongly recommended from December through April due to mountain road conditions.
Hot Tub Use:
Please shower before entering the hot tub and avoid tracking dirt or debris into the water.
Outdoor Lighting:
Kindly turn off all exterior lights at night to help minimize light pollution for our neighbors.
Firewood:
Firewood is not provided.
Extra Guest Fee:
An additional fee of $40 per night applies for each guest over 8.
Seasonal Note:
Because the cabin is in a natural, wooded area, you may occasionally see insects. In the winter, ladybugs are especially common around windows and warm areas. They are harmless, but a few may find their way inside despite regular cleaning. Thank you for your understanding!
