The place was exactly as advertised. The host was great. Blaise was very quick to respond to questions and had a lot of information which helped us have a great vacation. We would stay here again.
Nice spot, not too far of a walk to old Quebec, close to a grocery store which was convenient as well. Property was well kept and had more than enough room for 3 people
Our family of five stayed here. It was decorated in a cute, eclectic style. It was well-furnished with everything we needed. It was about a 15-20 minute pleasant walk to Old Quebec City which had lots of restaurants and sites. We were just a block from coffee shops and restaurants plus a grocery store just a few blocks away. I would definitely stay here again!
We loved the studio apartment and the large rooms. Bathroom was a great size plus two showers. One more small bathroom would be nice. Apartment came well supplied with everything. Just ran out of paper towels. More ice trays.
Really nice apartment. Went with my family of 5 lots of room! Apartment is very roomy. The one way streets make it a bit hard to find (one of the roads was closed down which obviously in not anyone's fault. Parking is very close and convenient to apartment. There is a great strip of restaurants grocery stores, shops steps away. Old Quebec about a 20-25 minute walk. Don't be alarmed by the reviews regarding the homeless. Yes there are a few but they do not bother anyone. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting quebec city.
Les points faibles : Emplacement et exactitude de lâannonce
Be Aware-Neighborhood is considered a "hot spot"
The unit is gorgeous and well kept. Unfortunately, the neighborhood is LOADED with homeless people. They yell, scream and bang all night long, making it impossible to sleep with the windows open. It was very frightening. Locals (tour guide and uber drivers) told us that the block the property is on is considered a "hot spot" that they do not usually go to.
Very cute apartment and clean. Lots of places to eat nearby and close to lots of sightseeing. Great communication with host. There are a lot of homeless people in neighborhood but felt secure. The floors do creak quite a bit so it's hard to be quiet but beds and the whole place were comfortable. We couldn't get the ac to work and it was a bit warm during the day but cooled off at night. Would stay there again
Spent 4 nights in QC and had a great time. The apartment is well located right around the corner from some great restaurants and a food market. Comes with indoor parking in a building next door but given how conveniently located this property is you won't need it much. Yes, there is a lot of homeless in the area probably because of the church across the street which seems to provide services to them (bless them), but at no time did we feel unsafe (we are a 70 yr old couple). If you live or visit any big city this issue seems universal. We walked to the old city and while getting up the hill to the upper part was a bit challenging it was the best way to take all the sites in. Would definitely stay here again.
The apaartment was comfortable and outfitted with everything we needed. The location is great; a short walk to get to many restaurants and businesses and walkable to the Old City even in the cold and snow. The place was very clean and Blaise was great about checking in with us and providing us with recommendations for restaurants, coffee shops, and attractions. We highly recommend!
We had a bit of trouble getting details to enter the apartment at first, normally you get details 24hrs prior but we got nothing, I had to call Vrbo customer service about 3 to 4 times to get in touch with the owner. Once we did get the information everything was great. We did receive msgs asking if we needed anything. The apartment by itself was great, cozy, sacious. The location was great too, it was near many restaurants, grocery store, pharmacy and about 2 blocks away from the buses. My only problem was there were a lot of homeless people around they were smoking and drinking all the time, which made us feel very uncomfortable and a bit unsafe.
The host is super, has accommodated our stay on multitude of aspects, the biggest one was allowing us to stay an extra night without throwing us in the street, thank you!
The apartment is lovely and bright, very accessible from all around the city and surprisingly quiet lots of eateries and shops around!
Great property within easy walking distance to Old Quebec. Spacious, clean apartment and perfect for 4 of us to spend time together. Nice, secure parking and responsive host to answer any questions
Iâll start by saying this is a beautiful spacious apartment. Very nice location, and we had fun staying there. However, we hadnât heard back from property owner less than 24 hours before we checking in. This was really stressful and we had to get VRBO to step in to get any kind of response. As mentioned, the apartment is stunning, but there were small things. The floor was not cleaned well (dust bunnies, nail clippings and clothing tags under one of the beds), a cupboard had come off the hinges, and the washing machine was broken. The floor is really creaky so you have to creep around, and you could hear similar noise from the neighbors apartment. There was free parking in an underground lot sort of under the building, but no direct access back inside. There are a plethora of stores and markets just a few minutes away and itâs a 25 minute walk to the old town.
We loved the apartment. It was spacious and comfortable, and offered every amenity we needed. It was a short 15 minute walk to old Quebec, and there were plenty of restaurants and shops within a block or two of the apartment if you donât want to leave the neighborhood. It was also very nice that it included a parking spot in a garage. I would stay there again.
My family and I really enjoyed the place. Prior to our arrival, Blaise sent a very detailed check in note which help immensely navigating through the parking location (which is very close), building access, and details about the apartment. It had all the amenities we needed and is walking distance to very good restaurants, shopping, and attractions. The building is older but very well taken care of. We had a little situation with the elevator working and the parking, but this was not something that could have been controlled. Blaise was responsive and helped resolved the parking quickly, so we were able to enjoy our time there. As someone that does not often write reviews, I would defiantly recommend this listing.
Large friendly apartment walking distance to Old QC
Host very helpful with check-in. Great location in an interesting area, and a circa 15 minute walk to the old part of QC. Great apartment. Building is very secure. There are some homeless people in the area, however less than in other cities. Some noise from the street in the evening.
We would absolutely stay here again.
Plenty of room for two adults and two teens! Great underground parking (you could certainly bring your bicycles on a rack and still fit easily in the spaces). Secure building. Large grocery store a few blocks away, bring some reusable bags.
About fifteen minutes up-hill walk to Place DâYouville. Easy enough to catch the bus there and then walk home.
Good location with plenty of restaurants and a grocery store within very short walk. Walk to Frontenac and tourist center takes around 25 minutes. Getting to the parking spot with a car is interesting (having to navigate one-way streets and construction) but the door from the underground parking garage is just across the street from the apartment door. Apartment is very nice and comfortable. Some homelessness in the area but everything felt safe.
We loved our stay at Blaiseâs apartment. He provided extensive and precise instructions for check-in and the parking garage. The apartment has a lovely view from the top floor. The place was spotless, well-stocked with everything we needed, with comfortable beds and a nice open floor plan. Special thanks to Blaise, who saved us when our battery died and he figured out how to get our car jumped! What a host!
We were very happy with this rental.
The location is extremely convenient, close to shops and within walking distance of downtown. We were happy to find that it was also only a short drive to some of the excursions we'd planned - the aquarium, Montmorency Falls, and hiking in Stoneham.
Parking was easy and convenient, only half a block away and in a secure underground lot.
The unit itself was very clean and very well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The only comment we have here is that it is quite dark in the unit.
Check in and check out we're easy and seamless, and Blaise was responsive to our communications.
We highly recommend this rental to visitors to Quebec City - thank you for sharing it with us.
We enjoyed our stay. Apartment was very spacious and clean. The second bedroom has a very nice couch that turns into a bed. There is also a futon that flattens in the living room. We also appreciated the washer/dryer. It was a short walk to everywhere we wanted to go. We also greatly appreciate the parking spot (in lot underground and next to apartment building). The host was also fantastic. He responded to all questions immediately and even checked in a few times to make sure everything was going well. It is also a very short walk to a grocery store. I highly recommend this apartment.
