Cozy and charming vacation rental located in North East Calgary.
This house is 10 mins from the C-train station that takes you to Downtown Calgary and is right next to Stoney Trail, which connects you to Highway 1 for your trip to Banff and Lake Louise.
Fully-equipped with all the amenities for a comfortable stay. Guests can enjoy 4 bedrooms, 4 full baths, a large kitchen, 2 living spaces, laundry & a 2 car garage.
This house is a perfect home base for your city getaway!
This location was convenient for the airport, and the rooms and furnishings were comfortable. The noise from Stoney Trail was a bit annoying, but overall the house was good
This was a beautiful place for a great price being a large family. We stayed here after flying into Calgary, and before driving off to Golden BC for vacation.
Very nice and clean property. Very responsive and helpful host. We had the property for three nights and had a great time staying at this house. Would highly recommend anyone visiting Calgary.
The place was wonderful, was clean and met beyond our expectations. Communication with owner was easy and quick, and was fully prepared to answer every questions we had. Definitely recommended for people travelling with family and friends. We would love to come back again. Thanks
We really enjoyed staying at this property. Very clean. We had enough towels and linens and I wish they were all folded and kept in a closet rather than leaving in the dryer.
For our family trip, we wanted to be near the Zoo, Calaway Park and Royal Tyrell Museum. This home was a great compromise in all directions. Nice quiet area, with a giant play park nearby. Pharmacy and a few great restaurants nearby as well.
The home was clean with comfortable beds. The water pressure was great in the showers and the space convenient for a large family. The only thing we noticed was the loud traffic from the interstate at the back of the home.
A nice home that is close to Stony Trail, so it is easy to get to anywhere you want to go. The house was nice with everything we needed. Great communication with the host!
My family stayed here after landing in Calgary before we headed up to Banff. The property is easy to find and very close to the airport, making it perfect for us since we were landing late in the evening. The house is clean and comfortable, the kitchen has all the things we needed to make a nice breakfast and packed lunches before heading up to Banff. There is a grocery store very close. We would absolutely stay here again, for a Calgary visit or a jumping off point for Banff.
We needed a place for the family to sleep for a night while visiting Calgary. This stay was amazing with lots of rooms and a clean environment. Great and responsive host, highly recommend staying here!
Very spacious and very clean. Everyone had a comfortable bed to sleep in and lots of space to relax. The hosts were wonderful, so friendly and attentive. You felt right at home in this beautiful home.
I was hosted coming from BC and the owner was very disrespectful. I didnât end up staying the night as requested by owner without a refund. 0/10 wouldnât recommend.
Close to city activities. Nice big bedrooms. Nice laundry set up. Crowded neighborhood, lots of cars and some blocked the driveway enough to make it difficult to park our car. Nice living room set up but blinds donât block the bright sun enough. Deck not finished yet. Good selection of kitchen equipment.
Flew into Calgary late on a Tuesday with my family and wanted to get a place near the airport to sleep at before driving up to Jasper. Neighborhood was congested and we could barely park in the driveway. Not really close to any conveniences or places to eat. Had 4 bedrooms with only 1 TV in the living room. Not enough seating in living area for 6 people. Towels / sheets left in the dryer. Had to try key code several times before being able to get into the front door. Beds were low and uncomfortable. Have stayed in other VRBOs and this was bare bones minimum.
The home was new and well kept. The rooms were clean and many bathrooms to keep party of 8 happy. However, the lack of any dresser drawers in bedrooms made it bit difficult to store clothes and no access to unfinished basement made it somewhat inconvenient. Also, while air conditioning not a must, when temps got above 30 C, you could not stay in main living area during day time. In all fairness though, temps at night cool enough to sleep comfortably. The property too is quite far from any nearby attractions (aside from airport) - count on each trip to Lake Louise, Drumheller or downtown Calgary being a minimum of 1/2 hour.
The pros: The house is new, clean and spacious. It is nicely furnished. Host tried to help when it was discovered there weren't enough beds and brought over a thin mattress.
The cons: Communication wasn't great - I sent a message to the host early on and never received a reply. We had to call as texts went unanswered for quite a while.
Listing was inaccurate - stating there were 2 sofa beds when apparently what the host meant was '2 sofas that can be used as beds' - sorry - that's a different thing and I wouldn't have booked had I known. Host also argued with me about what the listing said, even though we sent him screen shots of the inaccurate listing. Not great.
Very hot - Granted it was 92F, but it was extremely hot in the house and the few fans were completely insufficient, and none downstairs.
Noisy - due to the heat and lack of fans, we had to leave the windows fully open and the noise from traffic on the busy highway next to the house at the back was loud all night. My daughter was unable to sleep in the room due to the noise. Thankfully I had ear plugs.
All in all, I was disappointed even though as stated, the house itself is nice. I'm sure in cooler weather with the windows shut and an accurate bed space listing, I would give it a much higher rating. As it stands, I would not stay here again. My family had flown in from the UK and none of them - or us - got a good night's sleep - which was the whole point of paying for this VRBO.
