The Lifestyle Re sort's facilities include a clubhouse with catering facilities, a lap pool, jacuzzi, gym, floodlit tennis courts with free racket and ball hire and resident pro, picnic areas and split level swimming pools. There is also round-the-clock security for your peace of mind.
The development is set on a ridge overlooking Port St. Charles where the cool breezes add to the picturesque location. You are 5 minutes to the West Coast and 15 minutes to the wild East Coast. A car is recommended to explore the island.

Hébergement conforme aux sites. On avait tout le nécessaire pour cuisiner. Les lits étaient confortables. Nous avons bien aimé la piscine à débordement et le centre d’entraînement qui étaient prêt de la maison donc très pratique. Le site était calme selon nos attentes. Le gestionnaire de la maison était réactif à nos demandes, courtois et très rapide. Nous vous recommandons cet hébergement.

Another great stay in Vuemont

We have stayed on Vuemont many times and this is a very comfortable villa. We spend hours relaxing on the verandah which overlooks a wooded gully. The property owner responds quickly to messages.

Lovely location

The villa was tastefully furnished and the location gave a cool breeze, even on the hottest days which was important for avoiding the mozzies. The clubhouse was within 3 mi utes walk and the gym (a little small) was also close by. The grounds were beautifully maintained and the whole location very quiet and peaceful. The owner was very good at prompt communication. However everything was extra. All electricity ( charge for even switching on a light!) and very expensive. Laundry,( sheets etc) also extremely costly (not advised of the cost), wifi only available free at the clubhouse. Maid service also can be chargeable. On arrival in the evening after a long journey, disappointed to find no welcome pack. The cupboards were bare with only toilet rolls and a pinch of salt supplied. The neighbours however were great

Thank you for your review. It should be clarified that the electricity charge (introduced to encourage responsible use) is clearly stated up front and normal use incurs a modest cost, as in this case, of ~£10 per week. It is correct that maid service and laundry during a short stay are extra but were actually included as a commercial gesture in this case, so it is unclear why it was a negative in this case. Wifi in villa is via wireless 4G dongle, which until now was impossible to recharge remotely. This is now possible so some data will be included in future rentals. A welcome pack is something some people are sensitive about and was omitted in this case, despite being requested, for which sincere apology was made.

Quiet, spacious, relaxing.

What's not to like about this place ? The house itself is very spacious for up to 4 people. Everything is in good working order. The beds are all comfortable, the water pressure is very good, the air conditioning cooled the place well enough although we only used it 2 or 3 of the 8 nights we were there. Most nights we just opened all the doors and windows when we came back from our day's outings and the breeze cooled the place right down. There were enough bath and beach towels for 4 people which is nice because towels take up a lot of luggage space if you have to bring them yourself. The complex is very quiet. We didn't really see too many of the residents or other renters. More often than not, we had the pools and hot tub to ourselves. Even when there was someone else there, it was usually only a few people. The common pools are really nice, and our plunge pool was perfect for cooling off. It also provided our 4 year old with endless fun. As others have said, you really need a car to get here but we were fine with that. It allowed us to really explore the island. The owner was super helpful, and super responsive to any questions you might have to ask. Being able to just pack up and leave without having to do any clean up was great. I do have a few suggestions for improvements. None of these would deter me from renting the place again, unreservedly recommending it to others, or changing my five star rating, but here they are: - The pictures while they do a good job of depicting the house and the complex, are clearly out of date. The little palm trees in the front of the houses are now fully grown. There also seem to be two pictures of the dining area in the house each with different tables, there was only one. The grasses around the plunge pool have been replaced with some sort of bush. Some new pictures would be appropriate. - The previous reviewer said that the kitchen is well appointed. I found that it was adequately appointed but I supposed that's subjective. I felt it could have used a few more pots/pans, and kitchen tools. - It would be nice to have a few beach chairs and umbrellas for use by the renters so you don't have to pay to rent them. But again, these are really minor quibbles. If you're looking for a a super relaxing, chilled out, comfortable place to stay, stop looking and rent it.

A great place to relax

Truly a great place to relax and enjoy Barbados. The villa is roomy, the kitchen well-appointed, the plunge pool inviting, and the patio a wonderful place to enjoy breakfast and lunch, listen to the wind blow, catch sight of a visiting monkey or two, tempt the little birds awaiting your crumbs, and enjoy the happy sounds of children at recess in the school across the valley. The gated community is beautiful and pleasant for walks with pleasing landscaping. The communal pool is inviting and a great spot for viewing sunsets. A car is pretty much a necessity as there is no restaurant on site, although there is a good supermarket about a mile away. The owner was very helpful via email when HomeAway failed to deliver arrival info. We hope to return.

Besser geht es nicht!

Die Bilder haben nicht zu viel versprochen. Unsere Erwartungen wurden durch die traumhafte und vor allem ruhige Lage und die grandiose Aussicht weit übertroffen. Im Haus und rundherum war alles tip top. Durch die gediegene und sehr ansprechende Einrichtung fühlte man sich sofort sehr wohl. Auf unsere Anfragen wurde rasch und freundlich geantwortet. Die Schlüsselübergabe funktionierte ohne Probleme und die Kaution wurde raschest zurück überwiesen. Natürlich braucht man ein Auto, aber das ist bei so einer traumhaft schönen Insel wie Barbados sowieso zu empfehlen, da es mehr als genug zu sehen gibt. Besonders das Concordemuseum hat es unserem 12 jährigen Sohn angetan. Es war das erste Mal, dass wir über Fewo gebucht haben und hatten gleich so eine tolle Unterkunft. 100% Weiterempfehlung. Quiet and relaxing break

The villa is comfortable and clean. The location is distanced from major eating houses in Holetown and the West Coast. This has good points in so much as it creates a very quiet holiday. Which was perfect for us. A car is essential, however there are buses to the coast and around . The pool is very good at the clubhouse and there was rarely anybody else there,during our stay. Being on a ridge, there is always a cooling breeze.We found the owners to be helpful accommodating and efficient.,The gym facilities were also very good. Overall it gave us the ideal break to recharge our batteries.David and Shantha.

Nice home

We were pleasantly surprised that this home was as pictured, nicely decorated and clean. It was great to have a kitchen available for some meal prep. The owners were easy to work with and always prompt in responding to queries. If you are attached to movie watching, or television, be aware that the monitor in the home is about the size of a laptop computer. This was disappointing for us as we were there a full two weeks, and during the Olympics.There is a much larger screen and more channels available in the club house, which is very close to the home. And this is also where you will have to go to use the internet. There is no access from the home. All of the staff around the grounds were friendly and helpful. Compared to where we live in the US, food was very expensive here, whether preparing meals or eating out. Our two best values and good meals were at the Moontown fish fry, which is on Thur, Fri, Sat eve, on the coast north of Speightstown, and at Just Grillin in Holetown. The locals are very friendly and helpful. Unless you are into the "bar" scene, there isn't much to do on the island after 5 pm. Retailers close, and not much other activity outside of restaurants and bars.

We have taken on board the feedback about the TV being too small and now have 32'' LED screen. As regards Internet, we have switched to a 4G pay as you go wireless device. 2GB for 2 weeks costs around £10 and you can take it out and about to avoid roaming charges on your smartphone!

Great Family Time at Vuemount !

We spent a very good time with our 2 daughters at Vuemount. The Villa was ideal for us (2 adults and 2 children: 4 and 6), quiet (for the nap), intimate, and very well located (5-10 minutes driving from many points of interest, including adorable beaches perfect for young children). The plunge pool was very much appreciated by the girls as much as ourselves at all time of the day. The Villa is modern, well equipped, beds very comfortable and tropical landscaping relaxing. Overall, we loved staying at Vuemount and would consider going again in the future. A car is a must ! Nicolas & Marie-Josée Montréal, Québec Canada

Fantastic holiday retreat

Wow is all that I can say, what a beautiful serene and relaxed location. I have been to Barbados many times ( in excess of 50+) this was the most enjoyable and relaxing holiday of them all. the villa was amazing, everything that you need was to hand, spotlessly clean and the plunge pool was a bit hit. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming it truly was a breath of fresh air. ..........would I book again? Hell YES!!!

Fantastic Villa!

Had a fantastic relaxing time staying at Vuemont. The villa is superb in every way, beautifully appointed and located in a peaceful location just a 10 minute drive from the nearest West Coast beaches around Speightstown and St. James. The infinity pool is a 2 minute walk from the front door, offering fantastic sea views and a great jacuzzi. The whole complex is beautifully maintained and very safe with 24 hr security. Another Fabulous Holiday

Beautiful Villa

Beautiful villa in a lovely location with fantastic views across the coast. The villa is spacious, very well equipped and is immaculately presented. On arrival we were welcomed by Linda who was very helpful & to whom nothing was too much trouble. The owner made the booking process very easy and was very efficient and helpful from start to end. The location is a great base to explore the north & west of the Island and is less commercial than the South - we loved it. We stayed here during the first week of our fortnight holiday and really wished that we had been staying for 2! We had a fantastic time & the villa comes very highly recommended.
