Located in the beautiful French region of Terres Basses, this home overlooks the coastline of Baie Rouge beach and adorns sites of the infamous “David’s Hole;” The natural collapsed cave. No matter where you roam, you will be greeted by impeccable scenes, from the terrace to the bedrooms to the designated viewing spot perched on top of the cliff. This property features five exquisite bedrooms and five and a half bathrooms that surround the central living spaces meaning it is perfectly accommodating to large families or groups of friends for any occasion.



As you enter the home, you are greeted by a structured entrance that guides you to the expansive terrace and glistening infinity pool beneath. This portion of the property resembles the heart of the home and sweeps you in with its array of blues provided by the reflective pool and vast sea. The patio lines the majority of the house, taking full advantage of its location. Taking steps down to the pool will showcase a magnificent gazebo, catering for the view of Anguilla and the Caribbean Sea. As you continue to walk down, there are stepping stones that reveal a little private seating area to enjoy the meditative water crashing into the cliffs. The terrace with its outdoor living spaces, perfectly blends into the interior without ever losing sight of the sea below.



Due to its location, Esprit de la Mer can access all major necessities nearby, from supermarkets to restaurants. The beautiful Baie Rouge beach is directly beneath the villa; however, Terres Basses is home to some of the finest beaches on the island such as Baie Lounge and Plum Bay. Traveling to and from the Dutch and French sides is no challenge permitting visitors to seamlessly explore the entirety of the island at ease. The spirit of the sea awaits in this beautiful haven.



Nearby, there is Baie Rouge beach and for grocery shopping, bakery and pharmacy, it is only a 5-minute drive.

The Space:

The kitchen delights with warm wooden cupboards and contrasting black granite countertops. The central islands create an inviting space for individuals to enter and socialize while also encouraging a cooking environment to create any dishes you need. The height of the island allows for an ergonomic culinary experience, particularly necessary for hiring a chef. The luxurious amenities of this villa offer a Nespresso machine, an ice machine for hosting, and a double fridge and freezer capacity. Adjacent to the kitchen is the breakfast nook with a round table, spectacular views of La Belle Creole and windows that fully open for a gentle breeze. Next door is the family room which is fully air-conditioned with a dining table that creates an alternative refreshing dining experience. The artwork displayed on the walls of this space is designed by the local artist, Natalie Lepine, renowned for her work on the island.



Each of the five bedrooms presents spectacular scenes of St. Martin and the ocean at any time of the day. Three of the rooms are attached to the main structure of the home and are based on a higher level, this section includes the grand bedroom. The other two bedrooms are a level below by the pool with easy access to the gardens and a divine terrasse. Regardless of the room chosen, they are each equipped with a spacious king-sized bed, a double vanity en-suite and substantial walk-in closets. The en-suite has a rain shower and window to overlook the sea as you feel at one with nature. Each bedroom's external access creates privacy for guests while also in close proximity to the main areas of the villa. Once you spend a night here, you will never want to leave.

Departure Transfer (One Vehicle): Villa directly to the airport (up to 10 guests).

Each vehicle can accommodate: 10 guests + 1 cabin luggage per person + 1 carry-on per person

* For larger groups (over 10 guests), flexibility is key!

The Guests can use their complimentary departure transfer as an additional arrival transfer.

* No departure transfer will be offered under this rule.

POOL TEMPERATURE

Private Outdoor Heated Pool (only between Dec 17-Apr 14)



Heated pools are designed to provide a comfortable swimming temperature.

As the pools are outdoors, the actual water temperature may vary depending on environmental conditions such as wind, rainfall, and outdoor temperature,

which can affect how warm the pool feels and the temperature it is able to maintain.

Please note that heated swimming pools are intended to enhance comfort and are not comparable to hot tubs or spa pools.

If guests have a specific temperature they would like the pool set to, please inform

our concierge team prior to arrival, as the pool temperature must be adjusted by our

maintenance team.

Guests are not permitted to change the pool temperature themselves.
