Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had to clean the floors in the kitchen/common area after we arrived. It appeared that something had leaked from the garage when a previous guest took it out but was not cleaned up or mopped by housekeepers and due to the death in the family we didn’t arrive until early 7/9. At least 3 bathrooms needed hair cleaned/removed before they could be used.

Great House BUT

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The biggest issue was the people before us. That being said. We had issues with the Appliances. Dishwashers were hard to get to turn on, and one of the two fridges did not work. cabinet in one of the bathrooms was hanging. We enjoyed the house, and the pool was very basic, but we still enjoyed it. The layout of the house was great. The rooms were nice.

Will pass on renting again

Room for everyone!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property is great for our very large family gathering and we use every bed in the home. Some of the showers don’t have liners, and one of the basement doors had a broken latch/door edge (looks like someone kicked it in), and one of large vans was caked with dust. Other than that, the property was much cleaner than it was two years ago, and some new additional furniture and decor helped in some spaces. This is our third time staying here, and we will probably be back in two years. Overall, the property is awesome! We love all the master suites, and the large open kitchen/living room/dining room. Hot tub was great in November!

Great location, and a great house!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our stay was great and the property management company was very quick to respond when we ran into a small issue. The main complaint is that there is not enough lounge chairs by the pool. It’s a 12 bedroom house but only 5 chairs available and the whole other side of the pool could fit at least another 5 chairs. The AC unit also shuts down every time a door is left open and also timers set throughout the day / night. Temp goes up to 74 and we had to constantly change ALL thermostats back down as it would get hot on each floor. Besides those two things, our stay was great. The house was clean, spacious and the movie room came in clutch with our kiddos. That kept them entertained at night.

Fun Vacation!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a fairly positive vacation rental experience. Our main issue with the house was it's cleanliness when we arrived. The bathrooms were not thoroughly cleaned - some trash still on the floor, toothpaste stains on the sink - things like that. Most of the rooms were not vacuumed thoroughly. And the wooden floors really needed a good scrubbing throughout the house. We also were not given enough sets of towels for each room. With all that being said, the rental agency was prompt with resolving our issues.The welcome packet from the rental agency was not the greatest - in previous years we've received dish towels, paper towels - we did not for this house. Also, door handles on some sliders were falling off. All in all, the house met our needs - plenty big enough, all the rooms were large, kitchen was pretty well stocked (could use some more silverware) and the location to the beach was great. The pool area was also perfect. I would say the house needs a good cleaning and some touchups on paint and just an overall sprucing up. Dishwashers were pretty terrible- small and didn't always thoroughly clean the dishes. The lawn area could have been mowed - lots of tall weeds, etc around the volleyball court.

Very Disappointed

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family of 22 stayed in this house in 2022. Had a wonderful week and any issues we had were immediately resolved in 2022, so we rebooked for 2023. In 2023, it had new owners and changed to a new realty. We arrived to a dirty home (after the cleaning crew had left), a gas grill which only had 1 working burner, 2 dishwashers that did not thoroughly clean dishes, an oven which did not come to temperature, overgrown grass and tall weeds in the volleyball playing area outside, drains that were clogged, ceiling fan that was unusually loose...the list goes on. After calling and asking for the repairs to be completed, someone arrived the next day and unclogged one drain and replaced a light bulb. That's it. To top it off, one of our family members left a drawer of clothes by mistake. We called the realty 4 hours after check-out, described to them exactly what drawer it was in, but was told we'd have to fill out a LOST & FOUND form. It wasn't lost, we knew where it was. After 2 more additional phone calls inquiring if someone retrieved the items, we asked if they would call the current guests to have them leave it outside so someone could pick the items up. The realty refused to call. We realize it was our mistake, but it was one that could have been easily resolved. Obviously, we won't be rebooking or ever using Beach Realty ever again.

Best Family Vacation EVER!

A quick getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our second year in a row staying at this house. Each time with different management. Each stay was enjoyable as we had a nice group. There are no major complaints about the house. We did notice that some things that were broken the first year we're still broken when we arrived the following year(i.e. the handle to the freezer door) We had an AC problem that was resolved quickly and a sliding door that wouldn't lock that couldn't be fixed but the maintenance man arrived at the house about 5 minutes after being called. Both years there were some cleaning issues. We found several things left behind by previous guests. That being said the proximity to the beach with the amenities made for a great stay. With a few modern upgrades this will be a jewel.
