Great Stay!

This was a great unit with plenty of space. The kitchen was well-stocked and we utilized it for multiple meals every day. The location is fantastic and we took advantage of the close proximity to the rail trail for both running and biking. I would happily stay here again!

Ski vacation 2025

Annual guys trip was a blast and The Prospector was our home base for a few days. Very nice place and we all slept comfortably. Only complaint is that the TV/living room is tight for 4 adults. The furniture (which is very comfortable) is really big for such a small room. Overall, very pleased with the property.

Mostly great

I would say that overall we were very happy with the condo itself. It was clean and linens were good. My only complaint was on the listing. There was a photo of two pools and the one picture showed an awesome pool with great lounge chairs, and we picked this listing because of that, however when we got there we only had access to the small pool and found out we had to pay $30 for a day pass to the big pool. I went back to the listing to see if it was advertised that way and at the very end of the description it does state that you have access to the Silver something pool but have to pay. It felt like false advertising and wouldn’t have choose this place for the small pool . We still had a good time using the small pool because when we went there wasn’t a lot of people there so we had access to the 10 lounge chairs ( we used 5) We were worried we couldn’t get a chair because of the size of the complex . I do feel this should be clarified better in the listing to be more accurate to what is really offered .

Good Location

As far as the actual house it’s nice. No complaints for that. It’s nice and cozy. It’s a good location. I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone with young kids. BUT it should be listed as more of a hotel not a house. I book things on VRBO because it’s not a hotel. You need parking passes and if you have anyone come visit they only allow two cars per guest. But yet the place has three rooms. This is a hotel with multiple rooms. The management company is very annoying. They send a ridiculous amount of emails. I had to verify my identity 4 times. One was to upload my drivers license which I have no problem with. But then I need to upload a picture of myself also. Checking in to the place was confusing. It said I needed to through an online portal. But that’s not true. You need to go to a front desk. It was worse than a hotel check in. Moose property management is just ridiculous. If I ever book another place and they are managing it. I will immediately cancel. Again as far as the place it is nice. And very well kept.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’re pleased to hear that you found the home cozy, well-kept, and in a good location. We would like to clarify that our property is a private residence within a condo building, not a hotel, and it is accurately described in our listing. Many previous guests have enjoyed their stays and have left positive reviews reflecting their satisfaction. We regret any frustration caused by our booking process. The requirement for a rental agreement and ID verification, including a driver's license and a photo, is in place to ensure the safety and security of both the property and our guests. This is a standard procedure communicated to all guests before booking. Regarding check-in, we strive to make the process as smooth as possible by providing detailed instructions via email and through our easy-to-access guest portal. We apologize if there was any confusion. Thank you for your feedback, and we wish you all the best in your future travels.
