Masterfully Restored Queenslander Near Esplanade
Beautiful Queenslander situated in a prime location just one street from the Esplanade and minutes away from the Cairns CBD. This wonderful, air conditioned home with soaring ceilings, spectacular timber floors and huge covered deck has been restored with care and attention to detail at every turn. In keeping with a traditional Queenslander layout, the living, dining and kitchen spaces are airy, well defined and appointed. This residence defines a true oasis in the city.
Imagine all the benefits of an inner city apartment lifestyle with all the space of a house. Just one block from Cairns Esplanade, this stately, high-set Queenslander commands a prime position. A comprehensive renovation has been completed to the highest standards, including a modern kitchen with dishwasher, air conditioning (3rd bedroom with sofa bed has fan only) The large master bedroom features an ensuite, walk in robe and direct access to the lovely front patio. The massive deck at the rear is perfect for dinging & entertaining and overlooks the manicured garden. This family sized masterpiece of real estate is fully fenced with electric front gate and there's room for a boat/caravan and space for everyone; pets alike.
The whole house is for our guests' use. Guests will have complete access to downstairs (garage, bike storage, general storage & laundry) and upstairs (3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen-dining, living area, rear deck and front deck) as well; only a small upstairs storage room will be kept close where detergents, chemicals (cleaning) and some spare linen is stored.
We live only a few streets away from the house and we're contactable throughout your stay. You can always contact us on Airbnb, mobile phone, Whatsapp, Viber, FB messenger, etc. Please always do let us know if you have any questions, or if there's anything we could possibly assist you with.
The house is located in a quiet residential neighborhood, one street from the Esplanade. Please respect the neighbors, do not make any excessive noise after 9.30pm.
Public transport, local shops, cafes, restaurants, liquor store, the Lagoon, etc. are all within walking distance.
The house is located 4kms from the airport, 2.5km to the Lagoon (southern end of Esplanade), one block (200ms) to Cairns Esplanade and Pirate Ship playground. Muddy's playground (the best with kids and it also has a great restaurant/cafe) is 1.5km away.
Cairns Central Shopping Centre and Cairns City Centre is 2km-2.5km away.
Nearest public transport (bus stop) is 350m, less than 5mins walk away on Sheridan street. Please note that UBER is also available in cairns! (roughly half price than taxis).
For getting around, and to explore larger Cairns area (i.e. the Northern Beaches, Tablelands, Palm Cove & Port Douglas, etc.) we recommend renting a car or using UBER.
Please always turn the BBQ gas bottle off when not in use.
Outdoor dining table will not be set up as shown on picture.
Smoking outside only, with closed doors please.
Early check-in and/or late check-out is available (depending availability) at a surcharge of 50% of the applicable daily (nightly) price.
Gardener might attend property (access to yard only).
Unbooked rooms (number of guests!) may be locked up.

COVID safety measures: before leaving / checking out, please put all rubbish including food scraps in the rubbish bins (yellow bin is for recyclable items). Please load and start the dishwasher with all used cutlery, crockery, pots & pans.
