Mango Mansion - 2 minute walk to the lake!

Our family has enjoyed this little house for many years and we have deliberately retained that traditional "Kiwi Bach" feel.

It's perfect for escaping the busyness of life and reconnecting with family and friends over the summer. As well as relaxing and unwinding by a lovely warm fireplace in the winter time.

The kitchen is fully equipped with everything that you could need. There is an outside patio area with a large outdoor table, comfy sun chairs, bbq and lots of games to play in the back yard or board games to play inside by the fire. There is also a covered veranda at the front of the house with bench seats to sit in the sun and watch the world go by.

Duvets, blankets, pillows, linen and bath towels are provided. Please bring your own towels for the lake and boat. A washing machine and clothesline is provided for your convenience.

There is a carport for the car and space to park the boat and any additional vehicles at front of the house.

Walking distance to Lake Maraetai Reserve or to the golf course to play a round of golf or disc golf alongside the scenic lake shores. It’s a 2 minute drive to the boat ramp for wakeboarding, water-skiing, kayaking or swimming and playing on the lake pontoon. The shops and local cafes are also only walking distance away.

Mangakino is a centrally located, peaceful lakeside village sitting in the middle of two of the best North Island's tracks- Waikato River Trails and the Timber Trail. Plus only 90 minutes to Whakapapa for snowboarding or skiing, 40 minutes to Taupo and 50 minutes to Rotorua.

We ask that you leave the place clean and tidy as it was when you arrived which includes removal of your rubbish and recycling. There will be a cleaner to come through after your stay to do a thorough clean and to ensure that it is clean and healthy for the next guests.

Note:
There is a $60 cleaning fee and a $40 linen & bath towels fee (compulsory) per stay. This is shown as one charge under the heading Cleaning Fee, totalling $100.
