Great view over frozen lake

Clean, comfortable house in easy drive to all of Fairbanks. View our over frozen lake allowed Aurora views on the one night that was not cloudy.Great communication with host.

Fairbanks Base

As advertised and a perfect location to enjoy winter activities in and around Fairbanks. From dogsledding to ice fishing and breweries to Chena Hot Springs, the house provided the perfect amenities. (Although laundry would be a great addition.)

Loved our stay

From the deck of the house was a lovely veiw of the frozen lake with nice sunsets. The house was nicely decorated and well equiped with appliances, fireplace, comfy couch and cool multiplugs on each side of the bed. The king bed was very comfortable with warm fannel sheets. There were plenty of fluffy towels, but they need a towel rack or towel hooks in the master bath. All the main areas were very clean, but there were some sneaky areas, like under the shower curtain or around the TV cradenza that need to be cleaned or dusted. We had a great winter trip, but it would be a nice place to stay in the summer too!

Fairbanks Aurora Views

Great location for Faribanks and aurora viewing. We saw the Aurora 2 nights from the house!!! Ten minutes to city center and close proximity to attractions, all while located feet from a beautiful lake!!

Great place, very convenient to everything you need

Nice location on lake. Very easy to get to airport, groc stores, downtown - all within 5 min drive. Also convenient to get to other destinations outside of Fairbanks. Great home base.

Great house in awesome location.

Clean, well cared for and spacious house in a quiet neighborhood on a lake shore. 10-15 min drive from the airport, Ceamer's Field, and the downtown. We enjoyed staying there a lot, and would definitely stay there again!

Summer Bliss

Nice two bedroom lake front property in Fairbanks. Most amenities were available for cooking, cleaning, and bathing. Property owner responded quickly to a request we made. My wife and I enjoyed a relaxing stay looking out over the lake and the occasional jet skier.

Very nice house. Roomy. Thermostat was locked on 68 which was a little cooler than we preferred at night. 2nd bedroom door was extremely difficult to close w/o force. Hole in wall. Kitchen drawer facing broken on 1 drawer. Beautiful view out back. Quick response to questions.

Lakefront stay

The property was nice, with a deck overlooking the lake. Great place to sit on a nice day; unfortunately for us it rained the entire time we were there. 😕 There were a couple of things that could have been improved. Most of the doors in the house stuck when you tried to close them, making it difficult to be quiet in the middle of the night. There was a plastic mattress cover on our bed with terribly pilling flannel sheets.

Great place, beautiful view.

Would be nice if the house had a washer and dryer for guests to use. Also, would suggest getting some ice cube trays if the ice make in the freezer does not function. Otherwise, the house was nicely appointed, clean, comfortable and easy to get to/from. I would stay here again and also recommend to my friends and colleagues.

Home needs maintenance and better cleaning crew. Also needs washer and dryer on site. Doors swollen so hard to close. Bathrooms dusty with hair. Freezer food stuck to bottom.

Best house in Fairbanks!!

I highly recommend this wonderful home for a vacation spot in Fairbanks. Easy to find from the airport, close to grocery stores. Lovely quiet neighborhood. Home is spotless, comfortable furniture and beds, and everything looks new. Fully stocked kitchen, large bathrooms and bedrooms. Big back deck looking onto a lake with plenty of open sky to view the northern lights and stars. The cherry on top were the owners who were very quick to respond to questions, and the most helpful and nicest ever! We are already planning a return trip to this home.

Beautiful lake house in Fairbanks.

very nice place to stay in Fairbanks, a little problem getting ahold of property manager when we first arrived but was very responsive after that. Wish they would have had a washer dryer. I think they should consider adding that as most places do include that.

We loved it!

The house was clean and looked just as it did online. It's on the outskirts of Fairbanks, which in my opinion makes it a great location. It's still very close to everything, but tucked away and private/quiet. The process was smooth and easy. The lake is clean and beautiful and a great place to watch the sun go down. When we return, we will likely try to stay here again. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to visit Fairbanks! Until next time!

Worth the trip

Fantastic place to stay in Fairbanks! Very well appointed and comfortable. Beautiful surroundings and loved watching snowmobiles on the lake. We even saw the Aurora from the driveway when we arrived! Didn't see a washer/dryer, but we weren't in need of one so didn't ask about it. May have been in the garage, which we didn't use. If you're brave enough to face -26° in Fairbanks, this is the place to do it!

Chena Hot Springs Bound

The property was awesome. The only issue was no ice trays and the dining room window when you open it comes off the hinges. Fairness to the owner, I did not tell them until afterward because the other amenities of the property were great. Great Property otherwise. They had excellent showing facilities, after coming back from Chena Hot Springs the water was still soft and warm at 1 AM and still warm when we left the next day before 10 AM! My biggest fear was not having enough space for everyone but it was more than adequate. We played RISK, watched TV, and Cooked from the open layout out. The layout made it great for talking and easy to interact. Thank You Guys for Such A Great Property.
