Welcome to The Sun Seeker – A Relaxed Coastal Retreat in Mount Maunganui



Just moments from the golden sands and world-class surf of Mount Maunganui, The Sun Seeker is a charming semi-attached brick cottage tucked away in a peaceful cul-de-sac. It’s the perfect base for a laid-back beach escape, ideal for families or small groups of up to six guests.



Nestled in a quiet cul-de-sac, The Sun Seeker offers a peaceful retreat just a short stroll from the beach. With three bedrooms and one bathroom, it’s the ideal spot to unwind and enjoy a classic Mount lifestyle in a relaxed and comfortable setting.



Step out onto your sun-soaked deck, where tropical planting offers a sense of calm and privacy. Comfortable outdoor furniture makes it easy to start the day with a coffee or wind down in the evening with a glass of wine, all to the soundtrack of nearby waves. After a swim or surf, rinse off under the outdoor shower, a simple luxury that captures the essence of beachside living.



Inside, French doors open to a bright, air-conditioned living space with an open-plan layout that flows from the kitchen through to the dining and lounge areas. The kitchen is fresh, well-equipped and functional, everything you need to prepare meals during your stay, whether you're dining in or enjoying casual bites before heading out.



There are three well-furnished bedrooms: one with a king bed, one with a queen, and the third with bunk beds, perfect for older children. The bathroom includes a shower and basin, with a separate toilet for added convenience. A washing machine and dryer are also available, making longer stays easy and comfortable.



While the home doesn’t offer a private backyard, there is a front garden area with fencing that gives a sense of separation from the street. Parking is available on the street, and with the beach just a three-minute walk away and the main Mount village five minutes on foot, you’ll have everything you need within easy reach, cafés, restaurants, shops, and more.



Travelling with a larger group?

We also manage the neighbouring attached home (Ngarata Nest), which makes for a great option if you’re travelling with extended family or friends. Get in touch if you’d like to reserve both properties for your stay.

Guest access

The check in is simple, detailed instructions will be sent to you on the day of your arrival. This is contactless and easy to access.



We also manage the neighboring (attached) home, if you have more guests please get in contact if you wish to book both properties.



Other things to note

- The main guest who books must be at least 25 years old to book

- Strictly no parties or gatherings

- Quiet times are from 10pm to 7am.

- No pets allowed




Important Note: Regarding your reservation, please be aware of the following terms and conditions:

Payment Terms:
Full payment for your stay will be processed 14 days prior to your scheduled arrival.

Guest Portal:
You will receive a guest portal link from Beyonder, the manager of the property, before your arrival.
Please utilize this link to provide your credit card details and upload a valid ID.

Booking Confirmation:
Your booking is considered provisional until the completion of the guest portal, payment has been made and there has been a successful bond hold.

Bond Hold:
A bond hold will be placed on your credit card 7 working days before your scheduled arrival.
The hold will be released 7 working days after your departure, provided the home is returned in the same pristine condition in which it was found.
Deductions may be made from this bond in the event of any incidentals or excess cleaning.
