We decided to have a last minute get away to do some things in Bunbury, so needed a pet friendly location. House is cute and did the purpose of a short get away. Ellen the host allowed us to check in early which was lovely.

Cute little cottage.
This cute cottage Had everything we needed. The host also kindly stocked the fridge with milk, bread and a lovely Chocolate Swiss Roll. Not far to the Boyanup Tavern for a great meal.
The bed in the main bedroom was the worst bed I have slept in , the mattress did not fit the frame and we had to prop up the right hand side of the mattress to level it.There were no dish cloths or tea towels. The house was set up to accommodate 4 people but only had lounge seating for 2.
We had the most perfect stay at Connies Cottage. We have so much gratitude for the host who couldnât have been more accommodating to my messages and request. Looking forward to booking our next stay. The resident possum was a laugh! As we live in the bush and have our own resident possums, it didnât bother us.
A nice overnight stay after travelling to Bunbury for family bereavement. Lucky to get such a nice property at short notice. Cottage was well appointed with comfy beds and our little jachshund loved the nice big yard to wander in. Well stocked kitchen with fresh milk and bread supplied. Would like to have stayed longer but had to gey home. Will visit again when we can
Great little place, the host was very good to deal with, and very friendly, even had a nice surprise Xmas present on arrival, the house itself was warm on the hot days we were there and the AC struggled, but it is an old property so this was expected.Great location, lovely local pub, not far from Bunbury Busselton.
While the property is old, it was clean and tidy. The host made us feel very welcome with bread, milk and cake. The property was in a good location for our day time activities.
Lock box code didnât workHouse operation manual non existent No operating info on stove and only 2 burners workedNo teatowel, dead matches left on table, used crockery in cupboard Bed in main bedroom-mattress ensemble with slated bed base in between the base and top inside a larger bedframe making it difficult to exit the bed without getting your foot caught. Bedsheets used.Couldnât open the front door, curtains rotten.Toilet had been used and left. Tampon wraps left.House in good location but very poor condition. Possums and rats. Booked for two nights. Left at first light next morning. Definitely not renovated in 2023z
Thank you for letting us and our fur babies stay at this historical house built in 1936 ..it was like stepping back in time with the antique furniture
and old charm. We enjoyed the local bakery and
coffee shops and highly recommend the Dardanup Tavern and a visit to Gnomesville and Bunbury was only 25 mins away where we took the dogs to the beach !!
Thank you we will be back
Thanks or the homley invite with bread milke and cake.sorry i couldn't eat it.We loved the background so beautiful and shady so much cooler than the house was.
