Easter weekend break

Sorry but overall the property needs a lot of maintenance and a thorough clean, also the cover on the hot tub needs replacing to stop the heat escaping from it. There is also an infestation of ants.

Home away from home

Such a lovely relaxed space. Plenty of room to chill out and read a book. The spa is amazing and that deck space will be so epic in summer! We’ll definitely stay again.

Great Spot - Suited us Perfectly

Highly recommend a stay here. Very close to beach. Well equipped with everything you really need. Spa pool was a great wee bonus. Thanks for the hospitality Jenny, we’ll be back.

Get away for the weekend

Lovely homely Bach that has everything you need to make your stay comfortable. Lovely host left treats, comfortable beds, warm house. Spa pool was lovely after a long day at the beach. Would recommend for couples or families wanting a decent clean home to stay in.

ANZAC weekend

It was a great get away, wood burner and spa pool that we both loved. The only downside was that we had to search round for fire wood and ended up buying some coal. Would be a good idea to have some instructions on the spa and where the fire wood is but it was great, thanks for opening your home to us.

Himatangi getaway holiday

A great getaway place to unwind and unplug. Kids loved the selection of DVDs and didn’t miss having no wifi or live TV. Close to the beach, park and four square/ takeaways, really handy. Lots of room for the family and beds to sleep in. Spa pool was just the thing to keep the kids entertained after dinner. Owners were quick to respond to our questions and had left some yummy snacks for us when we arrived. Just a few cobwebs and spiders here and there and mice droppings under couches. Other than that we had a great time!! Nga mihi

Relaxing trip away.

Nice little batch however, cleanliness overall unfortunately lacked for example there were Cobb webs in every room, dust and sand in spa. The spa wasn't functioning upon arrival however the owner promptly sent a technician round to resolve the malfunction. We had difficulty working the tv, recommend it labeled for others to identify the power button easier and the remote needs batteries. Until we occupied the batch we didn't know there wasn't any freeview or wifi until the owner messaged us after we asked about tv and spa. Great DVD selection for children but not really for adults to enjoy. Most dvds were scratched or out of zone for the player. The washing powered on but there was nothing showing up on the display. Overall I would recommend a checklist for arrival and departure with a how-to guide for things around the house ie: spa, tv and clearly state that there is no wifi or alternatively get this installed. We did enjoy some time away from home so not all was bad.
