Take a trip back to the 70s with this very modern, yet very Retro inspired studio. The exterior is certainly a nod to its 1920s heritage, but the inside definitely has a 1970s vibe.
This studio is separate from the main house with private access from the road.
A spacious light-filled space with a comfortable Queen bed and fold out couch for an extra guest and we can also supply a port-a-cot for a little one if required.
The room was clean and has pretty much everything you need. It is close to town and is in a nice quiet location. The hosts left me to my privacy but left me there number if I needed to to communicate with them. I really recommend this place for anyone planning to stay in Papakura
We are Kim & Cory, we live in a 1920s Bungalow next door to the Guesthouse, which was originally built as the Bungalow's garage. Recently we completely renovated the garage to what it is now, a modern, light filled space.
We have 2 young boys and a dog. You might see the boys on their bikes or us walking the dog, but rest assured, you are in a quiet spot a good distance away from all of the mayhem that happens in our home.
Spacious, modern with plenty of natural light from all of the windows and skylights, don't worry, if you want to get in a day nap, you can block all of the light by closing the blinds.
We have a small kitchen with everything you need to cook a meal. We have a dinning table and a dedicated work space. A large TV with Chromecast capability is at your disposal and we have a modern bathroom with a large shower. Fresh linen and towels are provided for your stay.
We have a sports ground directly opposite if you would like to expel some energy or a few minutes walk will get you to the Reserve next to the Pahurehure inlet, take some lunch and enjoy the water view or look across the water to the motorway in the distance.
