Very nice house and property with plenty of stuff to do nearby. Great place to hang out and decompress at the end of the day.

Birthday getaway

My son turned three so I decided to take him to a little cabin in the woods to celebrate. The deer friends who weren’t afraid of humans at all were a sight to see. The house was beautiful. It was also only a 15-20 minute drive from Great Wolf Lodge and ShopRite. Great stay. The property manager accidentally gave us the wrong address to check in at first. Then upon arrival to the house the door code never worked and we had to use the key from the lockbox which was fine. I’d stay here again.

Thanks for highlighting your positive experiences, Aliyyah, despite a couple small annoyances. We also love the deer and surrounding woodlands, as well as the easy access to fun and amenities. We'll work to make sure that the home access is easier for future guests, and we have also changed property managers at this point, so those types of miscommunications should be reduced.

Place did not meet my expectations

I was told the property was renovated but the only thing that looks renovated was the bathroom upstairs there was a leak in the kitchen above the stove from the bathroom upstairs I notify the listing agent and the caretaker about the leak no one came out to see it I was asked to be compensated all they gave me back for my conversation with 30 for my stay out of the amount of money I paid for that weekend it was inconvenient for me and my guess to share one shower

Lots of issues with this property-overgrown lawn to start, broken ceiling fans, missing towels, soaps, broken chairs, game room was missing pieces to all games and had a broken sofa sleeper. No bath or dish towels or soaps. No water pressure in upstairs shower, downstairs bathroom had a mold odor, either housekeeping or previous guests overloaded wash/dryer and didn’t clean bedding correctly so that smelled pretty awful. The reason I did give 3 stars instead of just 1 is because after reaching out to host, she and the owners did try to make it somewhat right by having some of the missing but necessary items delivered. Property does have potential but needs repair and host should definitely go to property prior to guest arrival to make sure all is in order.

Our experience at this rental property was quite disappointing. Upon arrival, we were met with a sweltering home that lacked air-conditioning, and despite having fans in each room, the main living room fan was non-functional. Despite accommodating our party of 10, the absence of A/C made our summer vacation far from comfortable. On the final evening, we encountered a substantial leak from the kitchen ceiling, originating from the upstairs bathroom. This situation left all 10 of us with only one bathroom to use, which was far from ideal. To make matters worse, the next morning, that minor leak had turned into a large hole in the kitchen, revealing mold. This was deeply concerning, considering the potential health implications from having been exposed to it throughout our stay.

Although we can't influence the weather, which seems to have been unusually warm, our Guest Contact could have provided additional fans to enhance your comfort if you had reached out during your stay. Your input has prompted us to explore A/C solutions to ensure the comfort of our guests in the future. Thank you for bringing this to our attention - We apologize for the inconvenience you experienced due to the non-functional main fan in the house. This is the first we've heard of the issue, and we're committed to quickly resolving it - We acted promptly to address the kitchen ceiling leak and have taken measures to prevent its recurrence. The issue stemmed from a broken pipe in the upstairs bathroom. While plumbing problems can arise unexpectedly, we're so sorry this happened during your stay. It's important to clarify that mold exposure wasn't present throughout the stay since the issue was hidden and only emerged on the final night. This house did just the trick

The check in process took 45min at the overcrowded main office with a crazy long line out the door. But that could just be because of the fact it was the day before NYE. Check in was at 4 but because of the cleaning crew we didn’t get in the house until about 5:30, however we were compensated with a later check out for that. The house says it’s optimally for six guests and sleeps 8 but me and my party were able to comfortably fit 9 between the three good size bedrooms, pull out bed, and large sectional couch. The two floors in the house really makes the most of the room. Both floors had spacious bathrooms and have good water pressure. The kitchen was ample and had every working appliance necessary to cook a big family meal. The “game room” is more of a child’s play room, and the fire pit could use some real seats separate from those on the deck. But ultimately me and my party of 9 enjoyed our stay here and had no issues with any aspect of the house itself. After check in, access in/out of the gated community was super easy any time of day, and anything we needed to buy could be found within 15 minutes of the community.
