Magical mountain retreat

We stayed here in Jan. of 2025. The snow was sloppy and the skiing wasn’t great, but the house was perfect for my husband and I,3 grown children with spouses, and 2 small grandkids. The kitchen is well appointed. The hot tin was crystal clear and warm. The beds all have down comforters with luxury duvets and pillows. We played games, watched tv by the fire and built an awesome snowman! Definitely recommend!

Wish We Could Stay Longer

The cabin was beautiful with such an amazing location close in town but far enough to give the cabin feel. We and our kids loved the front yard, going for walks, the fire pit and the jacuzzi. One of us accidentally forgot a sentimental necklace after we checked out and the property manager responded quickly and the necklace was found after checking the cabin and getting ahold of the cleaning staff. Wish we could stay longer but it was fully booked for the month. Will come again!

Great place

A great house with everything you need for a family gathering. Nice, quiet location, great amenities (bbq grill, hot tub, etc), and lots to do in the area.

Nice home but amenities need an to better taken care of.

The home was well kept and stocked with pots and pans. The hot tub was dirty and needed to be treated. It was excessively bubbly. We had two families stay at the property - 9 people. After two short showers we had run out of hot water. I suggest a larger hot water heater or a tankless that after a cold day of skiing the guests can take hot showers.

Not clean

I shouks have listened to the reviews! This place was not clean, they say they need from 10am-4pm to clean which is 6 hours and we walked around the house barefoot for 20 minutes and all of our feet were black! There were cobwebs everywhere. The vents in the house has buildup of dirt so thick you could tell it has not been cleaned on a long time. There was other people’s belongings left throughout the house including dirty socks. The propane tank ran out for the barbecue while we were using it. The baby gates were not useful, one was broken and the other was to small for the staircase. It is a shame because the neighborhood is beautiful and close to everything.

Good Experience

As other reviewers stated, the house is in need of a good cleaning and some updates. But it is large and spacious. Bedrooms and bedding are very comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked. However, some directions for the coffee maker would be helpful. The neighborhood is delightfully quiet. Although a bear got into the neighbor’s garbage after they put it out for pick up. 😬 The home might not be ideal for elderly people. Grandma had a difficult time with the floors and stairs, so she got the gorgeous master suite on the main level. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much!

Hornets in home

There were Hornets coming in home We spent a couple of hrs trying to kill them Because we didn't want one to get our daughter who is down syndrome. I called owner who thought i was lying So we took pictures we still have them By the way home was really nice But not cared for properly needs love And some attention.

Loved this for a family trip

We had a great time here with our extended family! We had an excellent time in the hot tub with the unseasonable snow and cool June temperatures. And we were close to the lake for kayaking when it warmed up the next day. Great manager and owner!

Great family vacation spot

We had a great time here with our family. We had 7 adults and 5 young kids and there was plenty of space for everyone. We loved sitting in the hottub and were close to the lake for kayaking, close to downtown for dining and checking out all the great shops. We like playing board games so the office area, dining room and table in the gameroom were put to use and appreciated. Both the owner and property manager were responsive, polite and enjoyable to communicate with. A few things could use some instruction; the dishwasher took a second to figure out how to run, and the remote for the living room t.v. Thanks!!

Great location. Needs a little work

Pictures are accurate. Location and common spaces are great. It could have been cleaner-a fair amount of dust on the decor and hair in places I didn’t want to see it. Needs some more pots and pans and kitchen utensils. Ice machine does not work. Wasn’t important enough for a short stay to try and contact property manager.

Overall great place

Our family had a great time, but there was a few things I wish was better. We couldn't get the fireplace working and the floor heaters in the bathroom didn't work. I feel communication could have been better. Overall we were happy and enjoyed our family vacation.

Not a great experience....

The house was super nice, however, when we arrived to the house THERE WAS A LIVE BAT INSIDE!!!! It was flying all over the house! Not only was it in the main living room, but it was also flying all over the upstairs (which has no doors in the main living room) and in the kitchen... When we called the contact number for the property, they did not seem concerned at all whatsoever, their response was, "well, are you freaked out?" So that was very disappointing to say at the least, considering the bat was flying all around us and swooping down at us when we were in the living room, plus they carry diseases!!! We ended up being lucky to have had a fishing net with us, so we caught the bat ourselves and released it outside. I just think it was ridiculous that we had to deal with this by ourselves but didn't want it to ruin our entire weekend, so we did what we had to do. We also were left with 3 clean towels (for 10 people) in the entire place as there was a dryer full of soaking wet towels that did not get ran through a cycle. So overall, I think that whoever is managing this property should probably make a few adjustments to make guests' feel more comfortable and have a better stay.
