We did enjoy the modern, clean house. It is nice an quiet with beautiful trees and farming paddocks in sight.Easy to get there, great base to e plore the wider area.
Ideal location, close to Kai Iwi Lakes and with beautiful views. Modern, clean, tastefully decorated home with equipment for self-catering avaliable. Helpful hosts. We'd love to return another time in the future!
Best place we have stayed in, just what we wanted as a Whanau to just chill and unwind, not far from anywhere where we wanted to travel to and then to be able to come back and relax was bliss, very spacious, clean and had everything we needed and more, the host were very easy to get in touch with and it was a last minute booking so we were very grateful we got in, we would defintely come back and highly reccommend this place
We stayed at this house over christmas for a family getaway. Clean and well presented property, very quiet and peaceful with rural views. Short drive from Omamari beach and Kai iwi lakes. We enjoyed our stay. Thank you.
We booked this place as it was close to Kai Iwi lakes. The batch itself was awesome and of high quality with all the amenities available with amazing views and even has a river walk. Only downside was no Wi-Fi, though that isnât always a bad thing. The owner Ngaire was super friendly and even came down to check we were all good. Would definitely book again.
Absolutely loved our stay here. If you want to get out of the busy city to relax, this is the place you need to be. The batch is beautiful, exactly what you see in the images. I enjoyed every moment out on the deck having my morning coffee. Looking out to the paddocks and big open sky, I could hear a stream or river nearby. Just what my soul needed to start 2023 off right.
Kai Iwi Lakes is a 10min drive away, the lake has soft white sand with clear blue water. There is a small tavern down the road, good take out if you don't want to drive all the way back to Dargaville.
One minor downside, there is no aircon so night time was really hot. We couldn't open the doors to let some breeze in cause the bugs would fly in. (There is a floor fan, maybe some bug screens for the windows could help to keep the bugs out while a window can be opened?)
Other then that, we 100% recommend this place and have plans to return next summer :)
We enjoyed our stay, house was great, large living and kitchen area and perfect for 2 small families with opposite ends of the house. House had everything we required. We stayed to catch up with friends who were camping at Kai Iwi lakes which worked - about a 15-20min drive. Limited cell phone reception at the house was the only downside.
Very clean and very new house, new and good quality bedding, cups and plants even have shop sticker on. Full kitchen, big fridge, plenty of space for food storage.
We are a family of 4, the place is big enough for two small families.
15 minutes driving to kai iwi lakes, 25 minutes driving to Dargaville.
Highly recommend!
