We had a wonderful stay at the property during labor day weekend. The house was clean, well-equipped, and just the right size for our party of 7. It was a short walk to the beach and our kids loved seeing the ducks on the nearby pond. The hosts were really easy to work with and responsive.
We had a nice week with two families fitting comfortably in this beach cottage. Great neighborhood for bike rides and walks to pond and beach, and super easy walk to the Poppy marketplace!
We enjoyed the light, bright interior of this spacious cottage. The proximity to the water was so close to the best beach in all of popponesset. Owners were so nice and attentive to any needs we had . I already want to go back !!! Best vacation !!!
Only stayed for one night, but now wishing we had stayed longer! The home was clean, spacious and in a perfect location. The owners were so easy to communicate with and made it such an easy process for us. Took advantage of the walk to the beach and in the end just wish we booked more nights! Would absolutely return!
Nice cottage near Popponesset Inn. Family- 7adults- stayed to attend a wedding. Cottage clean, nice beach at end of street over a footbridge. Convenient. Mashpee Commons close by.
We stayed here with three adult couples, a toddler, and an infant for an October wedding at the nearby Popponesset Inn. The location was ideal and the house was very cozy! We cooked meals in the kitchen during our stay. We went on walks to the beach (just a few minutes away) and our toddler enjoyed using the wagons and toys in the house. We used the pack n play crib for our infant. The hosts were very responsive and check in and check out was a breeze. Would definitely recommend!
Great Location. Disappointed with home/property managers
We stayed at this property for a week this past July. The location is great-Quiet neighborhood, short walk to beach and market. Upon arrival the home smelled quite musty, and it immediately became obvious that all of the window AC units were full of mold inside and out. We contacted the owners, and they were quick to respond, saying that they would send someone over in the morning to look at them. We took the units out of the windows so we could at least have open air circulation through the night. In the morning, the person came and confirmed that it was indeed black mold. The owner then texted us saying that he was placing a Home Depot order and we could go pick them up and install them. Our family spent a whole day of vacation driving to Hyannis, and installing AC units. The owner did not even say thank you! We wrote to them to tell them that the situation wasnât handled properly, and they never responded. Would not recommend.
Property was exactly as described. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes, silverware, mugs, glasses and cookware. Lots of seating -indoor table, table on the screened porch and seating on the deck as well as a sofa and rocking chairs. Beds were all comfortable. Window A/C units were fine for our stay, but I noticed fans tucked away, if needed! Bathrooms -plenty of towels, good water pressure!Location was great. Easy walk to the beach and to the restaurants/shops. Quiet neighborhood, easy parking for 3 cars.Communication with Kristy and Bill was friendly and timely. We thoroughly enjoyed our week!
House was perfect. Kristy was an amazing host. Very quick to respond. Linens and towels were a huge plus. Toys for our son was a bonus. Would most definitely stay here again.
Excellent location; great neighborhood, lots of living space; great porch!
We had a short walk to the private beach that was not crowded at all the last week of August. The week prior to Labor Day.
A fantastic location for walking, riding bikes in a neighborhood setting. Close to the Popponesset Inn, grocery stores and other restaurants and grocery stores etc.
Our hosts were responsive and very helpful with all of our questions.
Great property, especially the kitchen and eating areas.
Walk to beach (plenty of chairs and wagon included) and walk to Raw Bar with the best lobster rolls on the Cape.
Property is beautiful and very well kept. The owner was very responsive to our questions and very accommodating.
We were there for my sonâs wedding with my 93 year old mother. She was able to get around the house easily. Great neighborhood. Found a nice little walking trail at the end of the street that went along the pond or you could cross over the footbridge to get to the beach
My friends and I stayed here while in town for a wedding and it was perfect. The host was very accommodating and the location of the house was beautiful!
The house was clean and just as expected based on the online listing. It was a beautiful (and short) walk to the beach and marketplace. And the kids loved being able to bike anywhere.
We all enjoyed our week-long stay at this roomy beach cottage. The owners are wonderful and introduced themselves. The cottage is updated with beautiful soft colors and was comfortable. Bathrooms and showers were nice and also clean. The king bedroom on the second floor is quiet with a comfortable king bed. Short walk to beach and Popponesset market. Very convenient location.
We loved our stay at this house! We had a full house with adults and kids, but we didn't feel like we were on top of each other. The yard was good for the kids to play, and it's so quick to walk to the beach or fish at the pond. The marketplace is very close and an easy walk. We spent summers in this area as children and this house was a perfect place for our kids to do the same. We will be back.
I grew up renting houses right next door, and my parents eventually bought the house across the street. My wife and I were married at the Popponesset Inn, and now we enjoy Popponesset all year long with our three kids (ages 3,6,8)
